Power management warbird for Fed-Rom Science Character

Recently I've been tinkering with various builds again and in particular on my Fed-rom science character.
Till now I've kept in the spirit of a science character and played mostly torpedo and/or exotic damage builds.

Been trying something else recently with the Dyson and the RRW Heavy Escort Carriers (keep forgetting their name).
However, while keeping the power levels high on my Fed Engineer and KDF + KDF-Rom with leech is easy, i find myself struggling to maintain high enough power levels to make the most of the [amp] singularity core i have.

The plasmodic leech is in the range of 80M EC on the exchange so those expenses are pretty much out of the question for a character which is played infrequently.

Does anyone have some pointers how to keep power levels high enough for use with an [amp] singularity core without the use of a plasmodic leech?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I think I know what you are trying to do. Max weapons and max aux power with descent shields and eng power eh? Well I tried that and never managed to get these powers. The only way I found to keep high power values is with an engi char. With batteries, abilities, traits and some powers you can almost keep yours powers at max everywhere. But for a sci char, I am afraid that it isn't possible.

Apparently EPS will help, if you get that around 20% transfer. Also, using loads of the consoles that add a bonus to a subsystem. Like the Zero point console, and the new science/engineering consoles that can add a small amount. Without the leech, you could use the MACO shield which adds 2% to subsystems when attacked and stacks five times. Of course Emergency power to X will help, with a warp core engineer. No doubt others have better advice, but that is all I can think of at the moment.

He or she is also working working with Romulan ships which are already inheareantly weaker power wise compared to Fed and Klingon characters.

Oh right well even with an engi rom char I never managed to keep max powers everywhere so good luck to him XD

    Some thoughts:

    1. 6s in most/all "power" skills - Warp Core Efficiency, the Captain/Admiral power boosters, etc.
    2. Efficient BOffs wherever you can slot them.
    3. Doubled Energy Syphon with Tons of Flow Caps
    4. Prayers with the lockbox which gives the Plasmonic Console (aka how I got mine all so many months ago...)
    5. Tweak your power levels so that your weapons are right at overcap, not a dime of power more. Heck, maybe be "one tick" under overcap to help your other levels.
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

Energy siphon.. since most PVE have fighter BFAW spam i usually got FBP on that spot, but it may be worth a try.

Did some testing and Energy Siphon does bring the power level to acceptable levels. It's also in line with a science character so that's a bonus as far as i am concerned.

While the first reactions were somewhat negative, later on useful advice was given. Looking for more of the latter so keep those ideas coming.

greedy emitters from the nandi + energy siphon and at least 1 purple deflector doff; this doff is useful also if you use tyken rift and grav well, + greedy emitters works also with tyken rift
