this is going to sound really stupid but ever since i got the dyson set on both my tac and eng officers to lvl 14 . my tac seems more like a tank he never dies its got to the point i can solo any part of the dyson battle zone and i dont ever die. i dont even bring a sci officer with me. on the other hand my eng officer tends to die trying to solo some parts.any thoughts on what could have gone wrong. i was going to just use my eng officer has a dil collector but now i am just going to roll another tac for dil collecting

wha? Assuming everything else is equal, your Eng should be better as a groundpounder.
There must be some key traits that are making your Tac such a tank, that your Eng doesn't have.

It could be a number of things to be honest. Could be the skills you're using, your gear, your Away Team, the powers the Away Team is using, or even your tactics. Generally speaking, Engineers are the best class in Ground Combat,

If you're dying a lot, you might want to look into things like using Cover Shields to help you when you're taking fire. I like to pop a Cover Shield, and then put a shield generator right behind the shield to protect it. I also like to line the area with mines, I map the mines to my thumb mouse button so I can deploy them quickly.

You can also try looking at the powers your Science officer(s) are using. Are they using healing abilities? If not, maybe look at that. I know some people even bring 2 Science Officers. I don't do that, I prefer extra Tactical Officers for firepower, but it's a valid way to go.

You might also want to consider bringing some shield charges and hypo sprays. This seems very obvious, but a lot of players don't use the ground consumables and they make a big difference. Also, make sure your Ground BoFFS have plenty of them, they're very cheap and your BoFFs will use them to stay alive and keep you in the fight.

I'm sure it's just a matter of making a few simple adjustments and you'll be just fine. You could also check your skills and traits, make sure you didn't have everything unslot on you. That happens sometimes.
