What the heck is going on

in Star Trek Online General Discussion
I am in the East coast of the USA and between 7:35 am and 7:45 am I have been disconnected 7 times, when I manage to log on I get rubberbanding, freezing, the doff missions keep appearing and disappearing from the screen, what the heck is going on?

    East coast player here, been on since 5:30 and have had none of the issues you have... on comcast.

    "Disconnected from the login server" constantly on character selection screen.

    Game's done for on my end.

    Things I've tried with no result: force verify, safe mode, enable/disable 'reduced file streaming' (which for me did resolve unable to log my Fed Main at Sol system space).

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

    Resolved.

    After trying to exhaust all options before trying to contact tech support, seems I got lucky: Restart PC.

    Ty for encouragement. It wasn't even showing my character models, so couldn't even change character in case I was locked out of one, and I tried all morning repeatedly. Whatever it was, I'm not looking forward to next big patch.

    I notice the disconnects only happen when i sign off while in Q's winter wonderland and then try to sign in again.
    Try leaving QWW before signing off.​​
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Yeah it's trying to log back in inside WW. I guess the instance is now full and it doesn't know how to deal with it.

    i have same "lost server" issue with same captian when i switch alts, same captain everytime, decided to log out back on starbase to avoid alt switching crashings.
    it didnt happen last 3 years.
    so, i may expected same problems with later this year "risa summer event 2016"? better not!!!

    if you get the "server not found" error you get thrown back to the character select screen


    Solution:

    Re-click the character
    You should get a pop-up that mentions "log in safely," click that
    It will gently nudge you to another instance of Qs blunderland that IS online....

    This seems to be happening because there are over 100 instances of Q's blunderland open at any given time and logging in later doesn't guarantee that the one you were on will still be open.... The game's definitely having issues migrating players this year.​​

    seem only work around is get out of wonderland back to starbase or Q'onos first city to avoid switch alt crashing and lost server connections when switching captain alts.

    The only way around the "Game server not found" disconnect issue, is to make sure your character isn't in the Winter zone when you log out.

    One of my characters took 20 attempts to log in, and that was quite scary..

    yes I noticed that as well, still it usually goes ok after the 2nd or 3rd attempt for me, ironically I found the safe mode option made it worse.

    I know it wouldn't happen if I beam out of WW but I'm lazy. :)

    Logging in is slow for me on this and Champions Online. And there are a million bugs now. My Romulan always starts sector space at Sol now when leaving the Flotilla.

    I have also disconnection problems (ds9, new rom, q's wonderland". And sometimes I have also this error "gameserver not found". or this one; account server not found. personally, I don't understand how they can let these problems happen, in their game. This looks unprofessional.

    i don't know how the servers work, but they have definitely a problem with them.

    Well, those disconnects are happening to me too occasionally, but there is worse thing I'm experiencing and that is crash to desktop. During last two months, game crashed to desktop many times. And occasionally as I've already mentioned, I get disconnected too.
    And the worst thing of all is when game crashes or disconnects during fleet actions. For example when I was playing that Mirror Invasion with my fleet mates game would had tend to crash to desktop in the middle of event or at the very beginning of it. I don't know why that happens, and I'm certain that it doesn't have anything to do with my PC (Metro Last Light works for me just fine on medium settings and Dead Space 3 can run perfectly on highest settings), or my internet connection for that matter. So it's got be the problem on their end and believe me that I tried everything from lowering game graphics settings to force verifying files. The only thing I haven't tried yet is to reinstall the game, but that takes a lot of time which I can't spend currently. I'll try that to when I will have more time, but somehow I doubt it will solve the problem.

    Cryptic wont even admit it is on thier server side, it really need to shut down and clean up with all those junks.

    also, i have seen some "copies" of ARC on task manager, there is some errors with window 10 and win 7, they are making copies of themselves since they added ARC Chat. one of reason why of causing crashings, just one of issue i discovered, but dont know why other stuffs still causing the crashes or boot from server saying as "Disconnections" occurs.

    it getting worse and i can agreed, it seem it make them look unprofessional.
