Opinions on the Terran rep engine

I've been using a sci build with diffrent components from diffrent sets that give me boosts to aux power, PartGens, and GravGens. Up until now I've used the adapted MACO engines. But the new Terran rep engines intrigue me with their resistance bonus when a subsystem is disabled. Any thoughts or opinions about the engine from those who have used them?

    It's not as if there are better alternatives available... i think they will see a lot of use in PVP against drain builds and they'll be very useful against Heralds and Tholians.

    I use them with OSS (Override Subsystem Safties) for the defense proc, along with the deflector dish and adapted MACO shields.
