Feedback suggestion :Improved navigation aid for space combat

As some of you might know it can be really annoying to properly line up cannons in a 45 degree firing arc. So I thought it would be nice to have the simplified stealth model displayed at a fixed distance in a optional window, that shows the target enemy (or all in range?) as a dot, and when they are aligned with your firing arc the weapon number or icon in the window or the weapon display would light up.

I couldn't get a proper shot of the stealth models due to raptors shifting wing position in peace mode etc X_X so I took the shipyard hologram, sorry if the quality isn't the best.

This is as a mock up to show how the orientation window could be used to better pilot exceptionally small ships which make it hard to decide between proper orientation distance to see where your going, and proper zoom out to see whats going on ( mech shooting on new romulus anyone?)

now imagine you target a enemy, and when it moves in the firing arc, the dot would either be bigger, or change color, while little icons at the side symbolizing the weapons would light up to show you can fire.

In this example all five front weapons are dual cannons thus only have a firing arc of 45, and light up since it just entered the firing arc. The three backside weapons aren't turrets so they are not highlighted to show they cannot attack the target.

This would also be a help for beam boats as the overlapping area on left and right broadside is around 60 degrees in which all weapons can hit the target.

I really think adding aim support like that would greatly reduce the learning curve for higher level space combat for specific builds and I'd love to see something like that in game. I have a hard time aiming with some of the thin long Klingon ship designs because it LOOKS like I'm at the right angle but the game says nope and refuses to fire which is a great source of frustration to me. :<

Since the game client sends the orientation and position XYZ information to the server anyway nothing really speaks against displays like that being added to the client. And having the current targeted highlighted in a group on that pseudo 3d radar would be a REAL help when you try to determine where you want effects to be generated, say a gravity well, when you have 4-5 frigates with the same name and appearance losely together 1-2 kilometers apart.
