Jupiter Hangar Bug

The Jupiter has hangar bays to both the front and the side of the ship. When moving however, the fighters don't fly out from any of those. Instead, they all launch from the deflector dish instead.

That's because they are holo projections... duh

Why else would one not think twice about sending shuttles/fighters/frigates out ti their deaths...

I only see this happen occasionally. But most of the time, I see them launch from a hangar bay.

I see them launch from the front bay, which isn't a deflector dish!

It happens mostly with Peregrine Fighters while moving. They lag behind, and because the hangar gate is higher than thei flight level, by the time they 'exit' the go through the hull instead of the door.

That's not exclusive to the Jupiter, BTW.

It can also happen with the Gal-X line, too. Very odd to say the least.

The frigate pets are unlocked by buying the carrier.

OP, I'm guessing you haven't tried recalling your pets yet, eh? I suspect if you did, you would break either your desk or your head with another /headdesk.

Since that post, I have. And as you predicted, it was time for another trip to Ikea. Maybe I should apply for their valued-customer program. :)

Biggest issue I have is you launch the frigates, and if you get too far away they simply disappear, nor do they move very fast to keep up with the carrier. Quite annoying.
