is it normal for beam arrays fire out of the nacelles on an Odyssey? the beams come out of the back tips of the nacelles when I broad side or turn. Is that how its supposed to work? or is this a bug?
I've never looked closely at Odyssey nacelles, is there actually a phaser strip on the end? Isn't that supposed to be an exhaust for the warp propulsion system?

Yep, like what maddmatt said, there are phaser strips right at the end of the nacelles, on top. Here's a screenshot:
A lot of ships have small strips on the rear for protection. It would be nice if they glowed before firing so that we could pinpoint them, but they are there.
