Speaking as a player that has had a bad time with Cryptic and STO at least 50% of the time, I am noticing a comforting/reassuring trend around these parts. QQ threads aren't as frequent as they used to be. I prefer to blame that on the improvement of the game in general and not on some overpowered forum moderator ability. I am seeing opinions from players who are beginning to appreciate this product more. By the way, as far as I am concerned, I am running out of things to complain about too lol.
I hope this positive trend continues and I hope Cryptic will have more opportunities to tackle any remaining pending issues, notably stability of the game's engine. Please prioritize that one.
TL;DR... Healthy game. Go away short attention span you! rofl

That being said, there is enough still to fix. Just to name something I never really got into but still think it requires a complete expansion to bring back in line? PvP. Or Exploration.
And I'm still missing Terradome and still think Defera would need to be completed.
And as a year-long wish.... where is my Excelsior bridge pack. Simple wish, but would love it.

Season 10, whether you like the storyline or not, didn't do anything "bad". At least not intended (kughkemocitekugh). Storyline was episodic like the series, offering great rewards. 2 of the queues are a lot of fun. Armadas rock. Pilot is a lot of fun at times.
Point is? Unlike previous updates, nothing was done to TRIBBLE off huge groups of people. Season 11 did remove The Breach and Mine Trap, maybe temporary, maybe as temporary as NWS and Terradome. But Season 10 was a solid season that according to my knowledge did not drive anyone away from this game.

Honestly my only complaint isnt gameplay related really. Its those damned random crashes to desktop. It can happen any time and in any situation it seems. I can be stood idle going through inventory or in the midst of battle and *poof*, desktop.
Yesterday I ran five mirror runs (one with each toon), did a little upgrading, a little chatting, a little admiralty and doffing too, one crash.
The day before I did the same thing prettymuch, three crashes. I just cant pin it down...
I thought graphics, but then I used to run the game on max settings, so I now have them on minimum with little to no effect.
But honestly that is my only complaint, and it drives me batty, but I do truely love the game and prettymuch all elements of it.
Fix that and I'll be back to the 4-11 hr stints I used to do when I could allot more than I have been since these crashes became more prevalent.
I'm not going anywhere as I really like the way the game is going and the team are handling things at the moment but this one QOL fix would really keep my hours up to enjoy the game much more.
"If this will be our end, then I will have them make SUCH an end as to be worthy of rememberance! Out of torpedos you say?! Find me the ferengi!".
if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
It has been an ejyoable experience, coning back to STO so far.
I have played quite a few mmo's, almost two decades now and the one constant I have noticed in a game that is dying is that the first sign is when the developers stop answering threads. Lack of any new content is another thing that happens as well and then it's only a matter of time before they pull the plug, I've seen it happen enough times in the past that for me its a surety.
That hasn't happened here though. Frankly I am amazed at how much stuff gets turned out each year, they may not hit a home run everytime but they are active with their development. I don't see this game riding off into the sunset anytime soon but what I do see more often than not is alot of people that love this game and want to see it stay with us for a long time.
