Question for the brainiacs ingame

Admiralty system :

Does it matter if you outfit ships with elite stuff or just Mk XII Common will do ?
And can you buy same ships more then once or isn't that possible ?

If anyone know please let me know ? Greets

The equipment of you ship doesn't modify the admiralty stats of your ships, and the only way to get one ship more often as once is, if you get lucky und get it as admiralty reward (one use only).

Don't get confused by the link between Admirality Cards and ships.

IF you want, you could think of this as a special form of promo - remember during some of the ship promos recently, it was possible to buy a ship and also get an upgrade kit.

This time, when you claim a ship, you happen to get a special item, an "Admirality Card". The Admirality card happens to be named after the ship you claimed. But it is its own, seperate thing, entirely independent of the ship you claimed. Whether you immediately dismiss the ship, strip it of parts, equip it with monster equipment, has exactly as much influence o nthe Admirality Card stats or your ownership of that card as it would have on a DOFF you own.

Yep, once you get a ship, you get the card.
And even if you dismissed that ship right away, you will still keep that card.
That's why many of us have been reclaiming and dismissing ships lately.
To get the card, and then immediately free up that ship slot.
Dry Dock is good for storing Lockbox, or Non-Reclaimable ships.

basically, admiralty ships are like doffs. so, in essence, any time you claim a new starship, you get its corresponding "starship doff" for free. you can delete and reclaim ships all you want, you only get the "starship doff" once and you never lose it

I'm honored to be counted among STO's Brainiacs simply because I read a blog.
