Next ship sale suggestion(s) ...

Since admiralty is introduced I've noticed a great lack on science resources, especially on KDF and Romulan characters.
Therefore I'd love to buy a multi-faction bundle with 3 science/intel T6 ships, if this was on offer.
The science/intel T6 ships introduced back in 2014 are perhaps ready for such a sale.

    The problems with the Scryer, Dauntless and Pathfinder:
    - They are already included in a pack
    - They are all Federation ships

    I am completely amazed at the utter lack of science vessels Klingons and Romulans still have. Mind you, I wouldn't fly them since that is not how my characters play out, but especially with Admirality system released, I find that the Breen Carrier on its own isn't gonna help my Romulan characters one bit.​​

    Heavy science pack.

    There is art for a large Vulcan ship with triple intersecting ring sections which looks awesome. Similar mix of large, survivable and science oriented ships for each main race and that would be awesome.

    Oh and make them proper new ships not just the same old with a new console.

    T6 sci ship 3-pack with a T6 vesta-variant for feds and some carbon copies for kdf & rom.

    Maybe they'll redo the Vesta.

    If they want to go cheap on the KDF and RR side, they could make it a cross-faction 3 pack. The KDF Science Vessel would allow as "customization" option to switch between the 3 different existing Gorn science Vessels (no new costumes), and get a new Gorn Material. the Romulan Ha'nom might be reused with the new Kara skin and the new Romulan skin.

    That would mean even if only a tiny minority is buying the KDR and RR ships, it would cost them almost nothing to make.

    A Dyson Destroyer upgrade might also be nice. I really like the Romulan Dyson ships.

    If the KDF science ship they release is based on a Gorn ship, I'll pass. If the sci warbird is a Ha'nom, I'll pass. I'd want a Klingon science ship, not Gorn, Klingon. And I need a science warbird that moves around at least as well or better than a Mogai.

    T6 Dysons sound in theory a good idea. The Klingon ships nacelles could certainly do with some reworking, but that seems more a cosmetic concern than a functional one. I can deal with the nacelles as they are because I'm used to giving Klingon warships beauty passes given they don't design them to win pageants, but to win wars.

    I wouldn't mind just T6ing the Vesta for all 3 and giving the other two a Klingon/Romulan look to them.

    Unfortunately, now I am running out of Romulan ships to Tier-6-fy. Other than the Scimitard, of course, but that makes obviously the most sense together with the Oddy and the Bort.



    *And don't let the deragotory name fool you . I'd really love to see a Tier 6 Star Cruiser.
    ** Or should we just forgot the Space Shoe and pick the Recon Science Vessel? The Luna is at least a licensed property from the novel line, the shoe is just a Cryptic invention under Atari.

    So I was thinking cause yeah I am totally feeling the pain of science in the admiralty system as I play Rom. The most financially viable from the games point if view would be what if they did a new option similar to the fleet upgrade token that could be used to unlock a cross faction ship as a "stolen" model. It would let people use the flood of federation science vessels since their factions don't really have them. Pricing could be along the same lines as the fleet upgrade tokens.

    A ship with a base turn rate of 5 shouldn't be considered a decent idea for a science vessel, just saying...Romulans should be leading the science department almost and um...yeah...

    I recall a rumor or real thing at one point where "they" said the KDF and ROM would be getting a similar set up like the vesta...so a T6 vesta cross faction 3 pack would be a generally smart move...too bad us players are here and the devs are out there...

    would be nice but I'm not holding my breath, I do have kdf and rom characters as well as fed, and I focus science the most, its frustrating not to see more science on the other factions, specially Romulan...that one confuses me, you'd think if a race used singularity drives they were a bit more science oriented....

    But, yep I recall a vesta talk somewhere when it first came out that rom and kdf might see one for them...

    Meh, I am expecting the next winter ship to be highly sci oriented to quiet the other 2 factions down about the admiralty issues and no science ships...

    @mustrumridcully0 , if the dhael/dhelan is a space whale for you, that means that you don't use this ship properly ;)

    It's not really, but there weren't any pre-existing romulan ships anymore that I could fit into the pack.

    I guess at some point Cryptic may have to invent new Romulan ships. *shock* Or discontinue 3-packs. *non-ironic shock*
