cant get into game

attempting to connect to controller tracker...

multiple attempts today all end with the launcher stuck at this point..
any suggestions?

    Use the game launcher in the files not arc, it worked for me. :)

    uninstalled/reinstalled, seems to be working again

    same here, europe, germany, kabel, no arc, no proxy, standalone client -.-

    Try to rename appinstallconfig.xml to appinstallconfig.xml.old and restart the launcher. Worked for me.

    Hmm, am having trouble getting into the game, get to the New Dawn splash screen, and then it just stays there saying Loading at the bottom and doesn't go anywhere after that, not sure what to do at this point. been sitting on the splash screen for almost half an hour, any ideas if it's just loading files or is there a problem with a fix?

    I'm stuck in the same place for a while now, attempting to connect to controller tracker...
    Also, really getting tired of having to do the pin thing for connecting from a new computer EVERY TIME I LOG ON for the past week...just saying

    Steam Library > Find STO > Right Click > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files > Open Star Trek Online

    Opening it via the folder worked for me.....for some reason? Even though Steam is simply opening that file.

    I had to use safe mode, just like when Windows 10 first came out...not happy,Cryptic. :-(

    In the client, under Options, uncheck "Fast launch" and check "Force verify". This worked for me.

    Options does NOT open. I can open forums, news etc... But options will not open.

    Also tried various links from the main install folder, such as Game client etc.... Cryptic screen opens and instant crash....

    i´m IN now. monitored and traced the network to the accountserver, there was little traffic, but the client wont continue. waited half an hour and the login is now possible as usual. maybe the accountserver had some load after maintanance.

    this worked for me thanks, though now I have to sit through the verification process.
