If peeps get annoyed over how others dress their virtual pixel space Barbie dolls in a video game perhaps they have played too much and should hit town for a beer or at least switch on the TV. Hard to believe for some but there they will see hot-pants as well.
Hot-pants EVERYWHERE!!!!!!
The new outfit is cool and hot and all but hardly anything new or special.
If we want discuss the controversy over such stuff we really need to swing the discussion back to free underboobs again…
I've been trying to say that people do wear miniskirts, short-shorts and so forth in the real world many times! But some just don't want to listen, I myself am guilty of wearing such clothing in the real world, to anyone offended by short clothing, I'm not going to apologise for my fashion taste!
We can talk about the floaty underboobs again if you like, I don't get how that would even be comfortable, bu to each there own!
Cryptic has no logical reason to say no to anything given what they've already allowed except one. They don't have enough programmers and time to provide it and they have no intention to change that limit.
Seriously, I paid for the Merc outfit and for my money I can't put it on female BOFFs and thus can't have my crew 'in uniform'. They haven't fixed the bug, they haven't even admitted it exists.
When a game is ran like this, you'll get something only if they already planned to make it anyway. And you best hope it works, because they won't go back and fix it if it doesn't.
Actually they did not too long ago when they cleaned house with lower body outfit pieces. The mercenary outfit from the c-store is now a uniform option, except for the chest gears and arm attachments. This means it's available for bridge officers as well. They also opened up a lot of outfit pieces for uniforms that were only off duty before, like the Khan pants and boots, and opened up a few uniform pieces for off duty as well as parts of the formal wear. So we do have a lot more options now then we use to.
Except they didn't do it right. The upper can't be put on female BOFFs, even when they do try to fix something, they TRIBBLE it up.
OK I know this has been said before, but that is not "the" Klingon outfit! It is a Klingon in the Rep armor, a Feddie that goes through the Rep system will have the same armor.
Bring on the sexy, skimpy, Terran wardrobes! I'll have 3 of those please, one for each main, where do we pre-order these?
I'll proudly wear those not just for style but to re-assert my freedom to do as I please so long as it doesn't impose on the freedom of another or cause another harm.
Really hoping we can mix and match as many parts from these as possible.
Already started saving for those Terran lockboxes despite not being a fan of anything mirror universe in the series since anything coming out of them is bound to look good and also offer my Feds an alternative alliance that doesn't take orders from no one just because they're appointed higher up. Also we're missing I.S.S. Prefix option, as well as long overdue on I.R.W too.
Instead of having a female look like a female, sexualized or not, some people would rather have a sexually ambiguous looking stick?
I wouldn't put it that way, but essentially, speaking for myself, I don't want my female character to look like 'zomg TRIBBLE and butt!'. Not every woman dresses up to appease others. Some, surprise, surprise, wear what they feel good in and what they enjoy.

I know girls that love their 4" heels and dont like flats, these women prefer their clothes sexy too and are quite comfortable in them. Given how much they spend on these outfits and shoes, Im also fairly sure they enjoy/like them and are dressing for themselves
This whole discussion is rather fruitless, as literally everything in it is subjective. While one might consider 4" heels and short clothing as "sexy" ('society' agrees), some might not find any kind of erotic or aesthetic appeal in the same cloth and prefer something else.
Arguing "X does Y to appeal to Z" or "A does B and is thus somehow misguided in C's opinion" leads exactly nowhere. We should just let it be like that - different people like different stuff, one might be a part of a majority, one part of a minority, who cares.

I can see that with the Vaadwaur helmet for sure. Terrifying concept, and too bad THIS isn't (officially) going into game as the MU uniform. But it would be very easy to build.

To some that may be a shock, but it has to be said: Woman are people too! With different tastes. Some do like to show off, some do not. Offering only one side, no matter which, for fear of the other is bad and should result in so much boundary pushing, overabundant offering of options of the repressed sides flavor till the naysayers shut up. There is enough source material to push borders in both directions.

Thematically on point and definitely a nice piece of work, but waaaay off the mark in terms of Terran style.
Yeah, maybe. These uniforms probably owe more to 'In a Mirror Darkly' and 'Living Witness' than other episodes. More of the Empire and less of the Mirror.

That said, even the Thrall outfit can have a purpose...one of the versions of it in the promo picture made it look VERY Reman as opposed to Herald. Either by itself or with the right mix of Reman gear, a few of us are thinking we can use it and possibly the staff to create a "Reman ceremonial" outfit. (Note: the heavy armor probably won't be a part of this unless I see it up close in game and it looks a lot better than the unimpressive promo pic I saw for the armor).
Sorry if that messes anyone's immersion up, but just like I used the Vaadwaur outfit to create (no kidding!) an old Hebitian sci-fi hero holo-LARP outfit for my Cardassian (imagine the Hebitian equivalent of Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon, complete with a purple-yellow compression pistol that looks like an old-fashioned "ray gun"!), I think I have a good enough eye for my toons' costumes to know when I can come up with something cool-looking that you could imagine that species designing at some point in their history, even if I use pieces from an ostensibly Vaadwaur or Herald outfit, for instance, to pull it off.

This is odd... I'd swear that a few minutes ago I just saw a Romulan Female captain on K-7 with the Mirror Sierra shorts... along with a Romulan sleeveless top and the Khan headwrap. The weird thing, though, is that they had no arms and legs visible... maybe it wasn't Mirror Sierra but something from the Summer Event still glitched? I'm sure it looked like the ones from the New Dawn image, though...
