Would it be possible to get the Obex added to the Foundry as a NPC contact?

I understand it's currently not used in the game as a Herald ship but ships already exist in the Foundry that aren't ingame (Deferi ships, generic ships etc).

It's a ship of Iconian design that could be used by authors to give their own servitors a ship that isn't the same as the Heralds ships. Plus it's an awesome model that still exists in the game files (I was able to load it in demorecord today), it'd be fantastic to see, even if it is only in UGC.

    Actually, the Deferi and generic ships ARE still in use. But very limited.

    Don't you go ruining my point mate :p.

    I'm sure some of the small Deferi ships (the sci and escorts) are not in use anywhere, nor the generic Dreadnought.​​

    Quick, scan all the background scenery in the Iconian War battles! We'll get him on this one yet. :P

    AFAIK the Deferi dread will show up if you do a team play of a mission that has friendly Deferi ships.

    Why not? If it's still in game ... maybe it's an Iconian/Elachi Hybrid of a ship ... hell give it to me.. I'll let the Ask'kaar Emprie use it.

    I'm actually surprised that the Obex-type ship wasn't thrown into the NPC Herald mobs we'd have to fight in the various missions/STFs....

    I think it was plan A for what Iconian ships would look like, but it seems plans changed.

    Just label it as something else and use it for a mission.

    *Mysterious Purple Cloud ships arrives at Federation colony

    *Mysterious message appears from Federation Colony.

    *Mysterious creator appears where Federation Colony was.

    *Mysterious Green Cloud ship arrives.

    *Mysterious Green Cloud ship fights Mysterious Purple Cloud Ship.

    *Player ship arrives ... goes through a nebula and the hull glows green.

    *Player has become the leader of Mysterious Green Cloud Aliens.
