As the subject suggests - the issue with KLW / TS (and FAW to a lesser extent) has been well documented by now thanks to the work of others on these forums.
Apologies if I've missed it, but has there been any acknowledgement from any of the devs / Cryptic etc yet that they are looking into a fix? The issue is making almost any sort of team run impossible to finish properly, and indeed a CCA lag-fest last night resulted in an AFK penalty.

The everyone issues is obviously a different thing. During the DDOS thing, the day before it started, instance 3 on Qo'nos was lagging for everyone. Think the next day it changed to instance 5. But that was for everyone, so obviously it wouldn't have been anyones computer or ISP problem but something over towards the Cryptic side of things.
Just because you don't, doesn't mean everyone else isn't.
I rarely get lag but when I do, it hits hard.

I knew using Kinetics would be playing the game on hard mode, but what I didn't realize was how bad the deck is stacked against Kinetics.

Thing is, this is a lockbox item that equates to revenue for them. If they go the same route as the plasma consoles and just nerf them rather than fix them, it's probably going to make some people wary about opening boxes. This will be a revenue loss for Cryptic.
The thing I'm looking for is them to turn off the visuals or turn them down, same with drb. Yeah, I get that flashy stuff sells more, but if you keep lagging the hell out of the game, the fun goes away and so do people.

From reports you need to stack KLWs... not just use KLW2. But use KLW2 with 3 or 1 or use ALL 3 at the same time. Actually you may not even need to "use" all 3... just have the abilities slotted on your bridge officers.

Bort I want to give you the benifit of the doubt here. You should perhaps talk to the people that make the decisions and let them know that this one is a little bit game breaking and if S11 is to be a smooth launch perhaps it should get taken care of Now... cause waiting to fix it until they have the next broken item ready to sell with S11 looks a lot like this was done on purpose. I don't mean that to sound harsh... however the optics of constantly waiting to fix major bugs (that are always on items and skills that make Cryptic money) until the next new shiny thing is ready for sale are poor.
If that isn't 100% the intention perhaps you should pass it up the chain that more and more people are starting to see it that way... which doesn't help the long term cause.
The Kemocite bug report came too close to S11 launch so it's not that they're trying to "sell more shinies", it's just that they have no time to fix it right now. Every time they're about to release a season, bug fixing takes a back seat for anywhere between a month and two depending of how big the update is. Don't worry, they'll get back to fixing bugs as soon as S11 launches. They're doing a fine job since the bug hunting group went live. Just look at all the system fixes in the latest Tribble patch.
