Help with advanced foundry trick

Hello authors, I have just returned to sto after a long hiatus (pc had viruses but windows 10 has it running perfectly) I'm back in the foundry and trying to complete an old romulan mission, but I cannot get the old re spawn trick to work. I used to be able to get the player to respond somewhere else on the map by having a large object spawn on top of them. This no longer seems to work in preview or in a published mission. I really want to have the player beam to different places on the map. Can anyone help?

No, something in the underlying engine relating changed a while and that trick no longer works. The only way to do it now is to have multiple versions of the map.
