I did this event twice with different charcters today and did not recieve the crystalline shard.
Did you make sure to wait 20 hours? You can play the event every 30 minutes for the marks, but you only get a shard once per 20 hours.

Yes I did. I tried again a few hours later with the same characters and it work. To be honest I was rushing around a lot so I could have done it before the 20 hours. They should have a timer so you known how long you have to wait until you can get the next shard.

I think that it is not possible to put a second timer on a mission in the PvE Queue, but I can imagine putting a timer on the Event Reputation project would at least allow a player a place to get a pretty good estimate for when they can replay for their next crystal shard. But then you would likely get a cry of "Why should I have to wait 20 Hours to start my next project?" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Still, the Devs should consider a way to add some form of timer.

Players already complain now. It will not make that much of a difference. Still having an explanation would be good. Why the 20 hour wait and why is the shard only bound to the character when each character, if you have more than one, can take part in the event?

....Also could the developers increase the dilithium cap level?

one trick that I find useful is to run R&D projects as soon as you finish the first CC. That way you can look at the 20hr R&D timer.

So, TRENDY (or whoever is covering for her in her absence), with all the ISP problems and minor issues with this event, are we likely to see an extension of the event at all?

This is a good idea. I do this sometimes but since I use different characters the times and if I have the items varies. It will be easier if they just add a timer to when each player can collect the next crystalline shard.

Most likely not because there already was a 10 day overlap (10 extra days from what was required to get special reward counting 24 hour cool down), but perhaps a miracle will happen.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Doesn't everyone do that?

The reward system for the event is broken. I could have completed it by now, but like 5 times in a row it didn't give me the crystal shard. If I cant complete the event because of that, I'm gonna be upset. I only need 4 more shards....

Check your overflow box in your inventory. It's likely that you have a shard in there which prevents others to be deposited in your inventory.

Yup. A friend of mine had this same issue. Couldn't use his shards until he emptied them from the overflow box.
