Question about new fleet secondary deflectors

So with these new deflectors, when we upgrade them is there going to be fixed mods at every upgrade? Or is it going to be random like the craftable ones are now?

    The mods are random, as with every upgrade. Only the Epic quality mod is fixed (for all types of items, not just secondary deflectors.)

    Like standard Deflectors, Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Ultra Rare (Ultraviolet), Epic (Gold) Secondary Deflectors gain a starship stat boost. However these items also gain a single special enhancement at Very Rare (Purple) rarity. Below is list of the possible enhancements these items gain have:
    So you get up to 3 skill buffs, a special secondary deflector buff at Very Rare, and the Epic mod.

    For example, my inhibiting Secondary Deflector got [+Chance], [FlwC], [PG/SE], [PrtG], [SEN]. (It's also the only secondary I have with the epic mod.)
    Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.

    Ah super helpful, thanks. Though I still think not giving us the ability to pick or mods is dumb.
