So What Ever Happened to the Wells/Mobius 29th Century Technology ?

As per the ship description;
The Wells Temporal Science Vessel is a 29th Century Timeship recovered from the Tholian Assembly. Most of the advanced technology from these ships have been stripped, and have been replaced with contemporary equipment.

They don't actually say what happened to the 29th century Technology that was stripped from the ship...
Just made me wonder, what in the world happened to it...
Anyone have any theories on what actually happened to the tech ?

As a side note, what if that tech could be recovered and used against the Iconian threat ?
Would that not give the Alliance (or at the very least - Section 31) a distinct advantage vs the enemy ?
One would think, that would be a better option then using the Krenim "Timey Whimy" Ship weapon ?
Wouldn't the Temporal Agency rather support this option, then changing the past dramatically ?

Just wonder what others think about this, and if they have any answers or theories on what happened to the goods ?

The Tholians stripped it from the ship when they captured it. These timeships were recovered from Tholian bases and sold to the Ferengi, who resold them to us.

But do we know what the Tholians did with said Technology ?

Coincidentally, I was considering making a thread pertaining to the non 29th century weapons that the Wells class uses and why they are not more effective against a race whose primary weakness has been identified as being temporal shenanigans.

I mean, the Temporal Disruption Device for example; the description states: “Although slow moving, and capable of being shot down while traveling to its intended target, it compensates for these disadvantages by randomly phasing in and out of our spacetime reference”.
That last part is VERY important ; the TDD does almost the exact same thing as the Krenim have done to hide themselves from the Iconian/Herald threat!
So it should be FAR more effective against the Herald/Iconians than it is. And what about Chroniton torpedoes? The Iconians shouldn’t have anything to counter those.

I realise that, from a gameplay viewpoint, the Wells class the TDD are locked behind boxes and lobi, but it does leave one wondering, from the story viewpoint, why the Alliance didn’t create anti-Iconian weaponry based on the temporal tech they DO already have access to.

As for the Tholians – interesting question. The only Tholians we’ve seen during the war were dead (on new Romulus) and we don’t know if they’ve engaged in space combat with them.

Yeah I've been thinking along those same lines Reyan.
Would seem to be a more practical solution then building a super weapon that could do more damage then good.

I almost wish these ships and their tech, might have been used in some way to change the course of this war.
It would also allow the writers a convenient opportunity to re-release the time ships as T6 variants.
And with their advanced tech restored (or fitted with current temporal weaponry) could be the spearhead of the Alliance. And lead the way to victory.

Chronitons should be super effective against the Iconians themselves--i.e. when we face an actual Iconian in ground combat such as T'Mara in the recent episode. Nowhere has it been said however that the Heralds are likewise vulnerable, or that this vulnerability extends to their starships.
