All these ships coming out just delay want I want. I want to give Cryptic my money. I want to buy a Enterprise flagship. I'm tired of flying around these "sidekick" ships. Please release the T6 Odyssey Enterprise flagship. Please Cryptic, so I can buy it. Thank you.

I sure as hell do!
But anyway yah this would be a good one to see though I suspect it probably won't come for another season. The flagships have to first get back involved with the plot of the game before cryptic can justify revamping them over other things. That can easily happen after the Iconians, but during the war we're pretty heavily invested in individual guest stars who each need their own ship in order to not get one-upped by Harry Kim. That's not going to be the Enterprise (except....but no they can't afford him) but the Enterprise is a good starting off point to try to get back into non-war things next season (see. ship of exploration, peace, ya'dee'ya'da, FIRE ANOTHER CONFLICT RESOLVING TORPEDO!)
Its going to happen, but probably not in the very near future.
Notable missions: Apex [AEI], Gemini [SSF], Trident [AEI], Evolution's Smile [SSF], Transcendence
Looking for something new to play? I've started building Foundry missions again in visual novel form!
NOT going to happen; Will NEVER happen; and with any new ship release, this "topic" keeps coming up...
CBS, which owns the rights to :canon: StarTrek, has stated without ANY doubt, .."There is the current "Connie" in the Game and there will NOT be another "Enterprise" developed for the game and playable"...
Or words to that affect almost 5 years ago.. But we still get these threads... 'nuff said...
Thanks..
I wasn't aware this was an Endgame Connie thread... I thought the guy just wanted a T6 Odyssey.

We come in peace, SHOOT TO KILL!
...and then we got the ENTERPRISE-F.
By your logic in this post, CBS lied.

OP said T6 ODYSSEY, not Connie.
And FYI, the Enterprise-F is an Odyssey.
You are absolutely correct, and I am most pleased with your insight that refutes something absolutely 0 people in this thread have mentioned.
The ugly ones are easier................................................................to obtain!!
Not sure why the OP refers to it as an 'Enterprise Flagship' when he really just wants a playable T6 Odyssey. You'll likely get the Odyssey, but if you want command of the Enterprise, that's never going to happen.
Probably because the current Enterprise is an Odyssey. And if they do make a T6 Sovereign... I will put off my plans for a Negh'Tev for the Sovereign.

I have mixed feelings on this. If they gave us both I would have a big choice to make. If they updated the Sovereign to give it a more canon accurate model like the Intrepid and Galaxy, then I might have to consider that. I suppose it all comes down to stats though.
Yeah, I figured as much, it's just oddly worded. It can be read as the OP saying he wants an Odyssey because it's the ship class used as the Federation Flagship. It can also be read that he wants command of the Enterprise as a T6 ship.
The former is likely to happen, the latter will not.
I know I'm in the minority, but I have always wished that the Enterprise was not in this game. It has always struck me as odd that no matter how much you accomplish as a Federation Admiral, you can never command the Federation 'Flagship.' No, that right is reserved for 'Captain Shon' who has accomplished exactly nothing compared to your character in the story line. It's funny how the Enterprise is around as the flagship of the federation, but every time there is a catastrophe, they call me to handle it. I have always found that.. odd.
I don't mind that the Enterprise is in game. After all... from the player's PoV, this game is not about the Enterprise, but the Player's ship. So up until I got a Guardian, and later the whole Delta Pack, it was basically Star Trek Lexington for me because my main's ship was the Sovereign class USS Lexington. I still have that ship too.

... I need a better title than Star Trek Ramillies.
This is why, appearances aside, the Sovereign should be left behind. I agree that the Odyssey looks craptastic, but statistically it is still the best cruiser in Star Fleet. Pour your hate on it all you want, you only prove yourself a fool.
Either this or get some better writers to create some new and interesting species and better designs on starships.
Why?
T6 Flagships include the Scimitar - the jack of all trades, arguably best ship in the game. Once a T6 Scimitar is released, people will have little reason to get anything else.
Except for maybe Traits, but they would have to have very compelling Traits - meaning Power Creep gets even crazier.
Personally I hope they never release a T6 Scimitar (which means they will, of course
They could release the Ha'apax with the Odyssey. It is supposed to be the real Romulan flagship.
People had little reason to get any of the current T6 ships when the T5-U ships are fine the way they are. When your target demographic are people with more money than sense, it does not matter when you release a particular type of T6 ship. People will buy it regardless of whether or not they truly need it.
As someone who flew the Sovereign and the Regent, I disagree. She can be a pretty good ship if you build her right. The Regent is more tactically oriented as well so she can pack a punch. Also I believe that the Sovereign is more maneuverable than the Odyssey, and doesn't have as much inertia to fight as the Odyssey, meaning faster stops and less sliding. Also I believe starting with the Galaxy class, most Federation Starships are designed with an eye towards a long service period. I believe the Galaxy was designed with about 100 years of service in mind at least.
