Becoming Gamma...

I have a very small fleet, and would like some advice on how to become a Gamma fleet in an armada.

My family and I created the fleet to play together, but after some achievements early in getting our Starbase to Tier 1, we've found it VERY difficult to enjoy playing while at the same time improving our holdings. We play every day, but there are really only 3 of us who actively contribute... we have lots of alt characters but there are only so many hours in the day that a parent and 2 kids can put into a game. We've had a few friends who have expressed an interest in joining us, but they never get around to it, and we really don't want to just try to openly recruit random people to join us (not that it would be successful anyway).

We have reached Fleet Level 6, and I always keep projects slotted but it often takes weeks to have enough resources to keep progress moving forward.

All we have to offer larger fleets is the opportunity to for their members to gain fleet credits in return for helping us gain holdings. I doubt there would be much point for us to be a gamma fleet to any other smaller fleets, as the same problem with resources would exist for all of us, but if there is a larger, active fleet that just needs something to give them more opportunities for their members to gain credits, I can assure you I'll keep the projects slotted. Like I said, we play together almost every single day.

I simply have no idea how to approach this... there seems to be no real way to search for armada partners short of basically randomly asking.

Anyone in a medium to large beta fleet want a small fleet that wants to level up their holdings as the bottom tier in their armada? I really don't expect us to ever be a large fleet that will want to become an alpha fleet. We're happy being small, but as I said, we'd really like to improve our holdings.
