Ever since the season 10.5 update the game has been crashing very frequently. It always happens when switching maps. Is anybody else having his problem, or is it just me?
I have also had this problem on map changes and even during combat instances (Tholian Red Alert, Borg Red Alert, ISA, etc...). Additionally, there is an AFK penalty applied sometimes if the game locks up, and the player through no fault of their own is labeled a STF "leaver" for an hour. I love playing STO, but since the 10.5 update it has become somewhat frustrating. Game locked up more than five times yesterday. I even submitted a ticket about the issue and was basically told in a very condescending manner that there was nothing that could be done about it. Hopefully, these bugs will be addressed in another patch fix soon, so I can get back to enjoying STO.
...typical actually. From what I have experienced playing this game the patches fix about 1/3 of the people's issues, 1/3 are unaffected, and the remaining 1/3 who didn't have issues then experience the issues that were trying to be resolved. So meh. It sucks but you either get used to it or just try the game before major patches or play/do something else. It;s not ideal but this is the reality of this game.

^^ All of this! And it's beginning to annoy me. It often happens just randomly too (like when looking at your ship loadout, or when just idling in the Undine battlezone).
As usual, they pushed a new season, without proper testing.
Happened to me once since 10.5, but admittedly, I haven't been on as much since the release. I really hope it isn't common. That would stink! It happened to me during Crystalline Entity instance.
