Bring back Odo and Quark

I wonder if Cryptic will ever approach Rene Oberjonois(wrong spelling i know) about returning as Odo.
A future episode with Odo in it, could be a detective one, where the player has to assist Odo, solving crimes on DS9.
Some far we have had Nog returning, and getting Nandi ships from Risa. How about Quark or Son of Quark coming to DS9. A mission there could be helping him with various deals, but if you get caught by Odo, then the mission fails and so on.

This would probably only happen when or if there is ever a Cardassian/Dominion/Gamma expansion, just as they got so many from Voyager for Delta Rising. Before that (If it ever happens ;) ), I would not expect many VOs from DS9 actors/actresses. Still Nog was a nice surprise, so I guess you never know.
As Zephram Cochrane once said, "That'll do, pig. That'll do." - April 1st 2015. o:)

Maybe having Nog in the game is the first sign that a Gamma expansion is moving along. They better hurry though, the game is getting...old.

I am sure there are open invitations to a large list of Star Trek actors... not everybody can agree through schedules, lawyers, and contracts and fees it's the best arrangement at the time.

Having said that... I think Rene would be an awesome voice addition, as he already does so much voice acting for other things... he does a lot of DC animated shows/movies.
Deep Space Nine in HD, make it so!

As Odo is now a founder in the Dominion and far out of reach, and the only one he'd return for on DS9 is not there, this would be better as a back in time episode to bring you to when he was constable. I think a good thing would be for this is getting stuck in the past from a Krenim artifact, and needing Quark's and Rom's help to both fix it and set it back to 2410, and keeping all others, including Odo, from knowing about it until it's over.

I'm not so sure about the "open invitation." From the way one of the devs made it sound in the recent Priority One podcast, they approached Brent Spiner a whopping one time about doing VO work as Data on STO ... and that only consisted of walking up to him in the middle of a crowd at a Star Trek convention. I'm not surprised he said no.

If that description was their "open invitation" to Brent Spiner -- walking up to him at a convention and trying to pitch him while he's dealing with fans -- I'm frankly surprised we have as many Trek actors doing VO work as we do.

As for the Gamma Quadrant expansion, I'm pretty sure it's coming as long as PWE and Cryptic don't give up on this game before then. We had the Iconian gateway to the Gamma Quadrant that we found with Worf during a previous mission, we have multiple references in the game to Sela covertly traveling to the Gamma Quadrant to find allies to help fight the Iconians, and I hope I wasn't the only one who noticed the typo in the dev blog about the new Delta Alliance Doff Pack (one of the optional rewards is supposed to be a stack of Delta Quadrant Commodities for the new Delta Quadrant fleet R&D holding but they typed "A stack of Gamma Quadrant Commodities" by mistake).

It would also be foolish to have a veteran actor from DS9 available for VO work and fail to use him at DS9 or in the Gamma Quadrant since that was where we saw his character on the TV show.
In the immortal words of Captain Sisko: "It may not be what you believe, but that doesn't make it wrong."

Don't believe the lies in this forum. I am NOT an ARC user. I play STO on Steam or not at all.
