Hear me out Cryptic. Can you add the authentic voice over for the Klingons and the Romulan Empire?

Hello,

I was wondering if Cryptic has ever thought to make the Klingon and romulan factions to give their voice over. The voice over is mostly for Starfleet since they created their own Ai. But it is kind of unusual for it being carried over to the Klingons and especially the romulans.

Originally, Cyptic has did it for the Klingon empire but they decide to remove it all of a sudden (in which it took the authentic feel for the Klingon faction). Speaking of which, the all factions right now are starting to end up having the same voice over for ship's ai, almost the same specs like the Tier 6 ships that are being released (meaning the pilot, command, and the Andromeda bundle).

Bit by bit, the authentic feel of these factions are slowly reversing itself.

Other than that, I am loving the new iconian episodes, gear, and voice actors.

All Cryptic needs to do is increase more authentic feel of each Faction.

Thanks for reading.

Since we're all allies lately, let's not just share technology and ships... but voice over tutorials!

I don't know about the Klingons, but they don't have to make them for the Romulans. One member of this forum has a link to unused Rommie announcements in their signature.

I agree, it'd be nice to have them different.

Or give us the option to choose different voice overs... Like what they did with the Hud coloring.

Have female or male voice over per faction.

    Yup. (points to sig)

The Klingon notifications have been bugged forever. Probably at the bottom of Cryptic's to-do list... :*

I'm glad they didn't use those Romulan ones, they sound terrible, like some kid talking into a fan.

It would certainly be fun if they could get Susie Plakson onboard to provide the voice - given that she has played, klingon, vulcan, andorian and a Q. No romulan that i can remember unfortunately

They were supposedly based on what was heard in the TNG episode Contagion, the only one or one of few instances where you heard Romulan computer speech in any series.

Anything that would help give the Romulans more self identity to distinguish them from Feds or KDF, even something as minor as this, would be welcome.

I was trying to dig up the link when I noticed was already here...anyways...I kinda like it...not the greatest but it's better then using Starfleet's computer voice.

Yeah, I made the connection at once. And I quite like them. Maybe because they resemble something that was in the show.

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I miss good ol' klingon voice badly, and turn off any sound notifications since it was replaced.

Not big part of immersion has lost, but it noticeable.
    My universal translator works bad.

Those notifications were working just fine until LOR released in 2013. It's been borked since then. No amount of forum threads and ingame bug reporting has helped it. It's not on Cryptic's "To Do" list. It's not even on their radar. This issue is so old they think it's WAI.

Well, I think it's time something was done about it... >:)
