Generous to the Feds. Romulans and KDF still have the Red Headed stepchild slot. As evidenced by the introduction of yet another T6 Fed ship, while we are still waiting for the rectification of the blatant favoritism shown in the Delta Operations pack.

Greatest ship in the game by what standard? Any ship is great, depending on the skill of the player. The fact of the matter is that the KDF and Romulans have 11 T6 Vessels each, and the Feds have 16 now. The ratio at lower tiers is even worse. And considering how many T5 and under ships the Feds have, its likely to go the same way.

Sorry to poke a hole in your argument about "Favoritism", but Star Trek has ALWAYS been Fed Centric. Things have been improving with regular releases of KDF and Romulan ships lately and you're STILL complaining? There is less material for them to draw on for KDF and Romulans than there is for the Federation.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

So...because it always has means it should always go on like that?

Less material?? Erm, what are you talking about?? do you realize that with the excelsior exception, canon ship designs ended ages ago, right? And do you realize that canon material generally speaking is drained ages ago?? everything they release is non-canon, so i dont see any reason at all to give the feds always more things.
I think what most people want is a science ship for their kdf/rommies, more than anything else. KDF and Rommies have more than enough cruisers / escorts, but they have almost no pure science ships.

Eclipse, Scryer, Pathfinder, Dauntless, Resolute (Excelsior bash). Take these 5 off the "16 Feddie T6s" and you have... Equality...
And notice that the 5 ships I've listed contain 3x Science ships and 2x "regular" cruisers. Hmmm...
Detecting big-time "anti-old-school" bias here. NX? Lobi. TOS/TMP Connie? Super-promotion-box. (aka the two hardest ways to get ships) Excelsior & all 3 TNG "big hero" ships? C-Store. Please Equalize...

Speaking of fed-favoritism, I just rewatched TOS and there were only like 3 episodes with Klingons, 2 with Romulans, but all of them had the Federation! Unfair!
As for the Scim, it's still the best ship in the game in terms of DPS, and DPS is central to almost every objective in space PVE in this game. Until another ship comes out with a 5/3 set up, 5 tac consoles, battle cloak, 5 potential SRO/SI boffs, and carrier pets that can do more damage than half the playerbase, the scim will remain king.
In other words, the T5U scim is king until the T6 scim comes out.
I would really want to say that cryptic is fair to its players but truth be told....I can't. Star Fleet and KDF Factions have better Bridges and ships then the Romulan faction. Yes the Scimitar is a good ship but one ship doesn't compensate for the lack of love shown the romulan faction. do us all a favor and at least make a Reman Theme Bridge or maybe make the Leist a bridge option.

Even in the face of the infographic that provided what everyone has been saying for years. You still feel as a company they should give such a small portion of the playerbase as much attention as the larger one? Ignoring the fact that they have to literally build these new ships from scratch which requires more time. Where is the money in focusing on a portion of the playerbase that wont purchase as many new ship designs?

As I've just pointed out to rattler in the other thread, ALL of the ships in the Delta Pack were original designs, including the Fed ships. Trying to claim that having to build all of the RRF and KDF ships from scratch somehow makes the Fed-heavy pack justified is rather inane, since they had to build all of the Fed ships from scratch as well.

That is a Straw Man. We're not talking about the shows, but an MMO with 2.5 factions. Favoring one faction over the other 1.5 in an MMO is obviously something significantly different from presenting one faction primarily in a television series.
I do think it would have been appriate canon wise to give KDF and Romies a updated K'tinga, with the Romulans having a Singularity Core version, based on both races using the D7 in TOS. Even better would have been two different Kamarang variants, as that ship is explicitly explained as being an old design only made usable with modern technology, it would make sense for them to continue updating that ship.
Perhaps designs for that were shared with the Romulans before that Alliance dissolved, and now both factions have overcome and updated upon the flaws of that design. Romulans should have a D7 as a lower tier option canon wise in my opinion as well.
Thanks for the Advanced Light Cruiser, Allied Escort Bundles, Jem-Hadar Light Battlecruiser, and Mek'leth

Well roms have the greatest ship in the game and its only T5-U.
Roms are still doing well.
I hope you are not talking about the Scimi, cuz that ship is no longer the "best" ship since ages ago.
The scim is the best ship in the game dps wise. Theres no real competition either cause somethings always missing be it pets or battle cloak or something else.

1) Each canon design represents inspiration for new ships, regardless of whether you base a ship directly on a canon vessel or independent of it.
2) Cryptic is also busy upgrading canon vessels and giving them a Tier 6 variant, so the number of canon designs is still quite relevant for Cryptic's ship creatino plans.
The Excelsior is the first ship basically since the Pathfinder that wasn't also released alongside with a Tier 6 ship for the KDF or Romulans. I kinda had hoped they could keep doing the three-packs, but apparently not this time. But the leaks that were posted online show still a few packs coming.
Star Trek Online Advancement: You start with lowbie gear, you end with Lobi gear.
It'd be nice if the Resolute had come with a K't'inga and Dehlan T6 equivalent. And the Roms and KDF getting 3 intel ships instead of , and the Dauntless being cross faction. That way the Feds would only have the Pathfinder above the other two.
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I fail to see the generosity here. Cryptic adapts the boxes to better adjust their income. Aside from one trait perhaps the new lock box desperately needed some portend arguments so peeps would go for it.
And frankly those arguments aren’t that potent. Damage Resistance Reduction proc for Disruptors only, no ground weapons, still no selectable or changeable mods on them…. Wow, but I may chose between a useless beam or cannon now. Thanks.

Last I heard, it was a Fed ship. One of the escorts. I don't recall. Maybe a Fleet T5U Patrol Escort
I was just trying to thank Cryptic for their change of heart and now being more generous to players.
