I think it's hard for cryptic to make a bulkier and more clumsy design than the Scim already is (after all thats what they do... make nice concepts clumsy and bulky)... Thats probably why it's not even been discussed by them yet.
Don't look silly... Don't call it the "Z-Store/Zen Store"...
They'll probably do T6 versions of the time ships first, Either shortly after the Krenim lock box, or before the Borg Collective box. Considering that Romulan content is now similar to the way of the Klingon, There might be a t6 oddy first, as well as the possible addition of a new line of specialization ship. I say, if not this year, then early 2016 for sure.
Looks like they are slowing releasing T6 "upgrades" of the T5 ships. Anyone want to guess as to when the Scim will get the upgrade to T6?
1-3 days after you get fed up of waiting and spend cash/zen on something else
It took about a month for the B'Rel leak to come out after I bought mine. I was just trying to help get some new ships for the KDF so I was expecting that to happen. I was disappointed how long Cryptic took to obsolete my purchase though I suspect they were on to my plans.
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
They could always do a Fleet version thats T6, then tie it to reaching T3 of a new fleet holding, watch people stampede to build it up.
Those ships are already Fleet Level to begin with.

My guess would have been that the Flagships would have been the first to get the upgrade.
Now I have no idea. Maybe never. Maybe tomorrow.
Personally, for the Scimitard, all they should do for Tier 6ifiication is change a Lt. on the ship to a Command Hybrid and claim they are done. No extra BOFF slot, so far the game seems to have proven superior to all the alternatives.
(And it's still ridicilous that the D'Deridex has a lower turn rate than the Scimitar!)

The Pathfinder (the first T6 upgrade of the T5 ships in the C-store) released November 20th, 2014.
The Iconic Cruisers came out April 2nd, 2015
The Veteran (T6) ships were announced June 11th 2015, same day that the patch with them came out.
The last ships we had launched, the T6 battlecruisers were launched June 25th 2015 (nearly 2 weeks ago).
This is a slow release. Just because there's unofficial details on future ships known, doesn't mean they're coming up right away.
Yeah, if you want to go back to the launch of the Pathfinder... you're forgetting the 3 Lock Boxes (2 ships each), the Delta Pack, the Pilot ships, the Command BCs, the Sheshar, the JHSS, the Nandi, and the Samsar. While those aren't all T6 rehashes of T5 vessels, they are all T6 and they DO affect the release schedule of ships. Cryptic normally likes to let new additions have their "moment in the spotlight" before releasing the next big shiny.
It's laughable to suggest that Cryptic is on a "slow" release schedule for ships. That's all they do, LOL.
The Only thing I would like them to add to the scimitar is to add the same interior as the mission in the delta eposides where you see the armory, engine room, capt quaters, sick bay ...
Well i agree might be awhile before we see more upgrades for T5 ships up to T6 ship varients. I hope if they do makea dreadnaught upgrade for the scim that it is more of a multi-pack version just not like how it was back in the past. Such as having three Dreadnaught class ships released for each faction, feds getting the Gal-X/Oddyssey/Jupiter classes, with the Kdf getting the Vo'Quv/Bortasqu with a new class dread released, and then the Romulans getting the Scimitar class with two additional classes add. In this way you might be able to wwork each class to be designed for tactical/engneering/science based captains, while also releasing additional ships for the other two rfactions that have less shps than the fed do.
To be honest i kinda wish this would be done more adding a second ship to releases for the kdf and roms as they have much less choice in thier selection of ships (in ways i do not count that roms have access to fed an kdf ships as still the faction specific ships are quite less in comparison.). Even in a escort release I would love to see a multi release bundle of a normal, advanced, and a patrol escort varient each focused on a difference captain carear.
I agree next is most likely the time-ships and the time-dreadnaught/crusier you see at the end of the "time in a bottle" episode that the Krenim want our help in building. This is I think when the time-ships will be redone an a time-war like arc might take place an so have a time-war box come up in.
Vegeta's not counting all of them, he's counting the OLD ships, the T5s that get a new T6 look.

There are four former T5 ships in the "T6 pipeline"... be patient.
There is at least an T6 Excelsior in the works, a faction pack of iconic T6 Defiant/T'Varo/BOP and also a faction pack T6 Akira/Ar'Kif/Qa'tel Flight Deck Raptor.
There are four former T5 ships in the "T6 pipeline"... be patient.
I've heard seven. The Defiant/T'varo/B'rel pack, an escort-carrier pack with the Armitage and Ar'kif (plus a new KDF Raptor), Prometheus, and Excelsior.
Yes, Excelsior. The museum piece gets an upgrade before the Flagships do.

They make the Ar'kif a true carrier i will definitely go back to that but otherwise the Scimitar does not need to be made into a T6 version.
I have no issue with the flagships getting a later release if that means they are waiting till they can release it in as good a placve as possible. like with a favorable hybrid-spec seat, and with them being redone comes when tehy would show up (in their redone class) in a story arc or mission. We also have gotten quite afew t6 ships in the cruiser/dread/carrier class. So getting afew more of other classes would not be a bad thing.

I was only counting the FED side. The wise sages now speak of a Ha'paax, too (but if the Prometheus is coming, a new Ha'paax makes sense).
Ha'apax? Thats an odd choice. I'm trying to remember when I've ever seen anyone flying one of those, even before T6 launched. But I guess its a relatively cheap way to add another T6 Rom ship.

Ha'paax has the multi-vector thing, like the Prometheus... so, not that odd.

It's possible we will get a T6 flagship pack after the Escort pack, Escort Carriers pack, Multi Vector pack, Excelsior (maybe with a K'T'inga), and the T6 lockbox stuff.
Edit: We still have a bunch of ships on the fed side that don't even have the nice Type 6 hull, never-mind the Type 7. (Nebula, Ambassador, Olympic, Cheyenne, Nova, Luna, Nimbus, and Nomad)
Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though. JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

yes, me too. but cryptic won't let a way of earning a lot of money, be wasted
I don't know... The amount of overall players in the Romulan Republic is still very low compared to the Federation and also the KDF. So it might still not be a big money-maker.
A lockbox Tier 6 Scimitar would probably fare better for their finances, but that can't really happen anymore.

Agreed. Played ISA earlier - two OP scimitards in the team; instance completed in one minute and 45 seconds. I don't consider that either fun or challenging, and it proves that T5-U scimitards are OP. They do NOT need a T6 version.
But what is it that makes scimitars so OP? CMDR Tac and 5 tac console ships are plenty, some can even slot more embassy cosnoles for the plasma explosion and FAWing is also a no brainer. The only thing unique to scimitars is the hangar pet - is the drone ship so OP?
