You do realize there is a thread just for requests in the "Art of Star Trek Online" area, right? While I am sure this is not a serious request, some will probably take it as one anyway.

Any proof that they're going to up the year to 2411?

sure, how bout the fact that everyone made a big deal of Delta Recruits becoming Admirals in 18months? Even if it was January 1 2409 when that happens we are now less than 6mo from 2411

Fair point. Never the less, Starfleet uniforms tend to last longer than 12 months.

The current Odyssey uniform is great, there is no need to change.

RR uniform can use a color guide from Cryptic.

Yes this thread is better at the Art of STO.
  • kodachikunokodachikuno Member Posts: 6,020 Arc User1
I prefer the oddy dress uniform personally but I loved the movie era uniforms so.. yeah. besides I never said change the oddy uniform I said add a new one. Feds already have 10x more than KDF+RR combined, whats 1 more?
RR has had several players give out really good color guides for the uniforms. check the romulan gameplay forum
and all the armada stuff is better in the fleet section, so what?

The famous Delta Recruit scene where you go back in time to give yourself the tesseract device, takes place in the Breen arc (level 47 rear admiral). The year changes to 2410 in "Surface Tension," according to the wiki. Meaning it must still be 2409 when the future Delta Recruit becomes an admiral.

This means that, either the tutorials in fact take place in 2408 (or earlier), or there are 18+ months in a year in the 25th century. :D

Either way, it doesn't say anything about how far along 2410 we are.

Rumour is that the CBS contract requires the game to not advance the year past 2410 which is the only logical (as absurd as this is) possiblity as to why Cryptic decides to implement such a ridiculous and nonsensical scale of time - they should have just never mentioned a year at all in the entire game, just give a vague period and we wouldn't have that "problem".

Im pretty sure you can customize that very same outfit in the taylor if you have all the starfleet uniform packs. I dont see any particulary special piece of clothe.

I am 100% certain there are 0 corsets, let alone push-up clevage corsets in the existing stock of uniform bits. Also none of the boots available have heels, and I think that skirt is shorter than the ones available.

also you really need to chills some man

Actually, the 7of9 boots have a heel choice on them.

Looks like closer to a 2 inch to me (on the high setting, low setting looks 1/2 inch). But who knows, hard to measure things in game.

I think I'd rather see more KDF or RR uniforms. I am not really happy with those, while the FED uniforms are pretty good now with the Odyssee uniform.
(Though I also like some of the old Sierra variants. Especially with the Open Jacket variant.)

But is that the type of rumour like "We'll get a new Kremin lockbox", or the type of rumour "Geko kicks a puppy for every KDF Science Vessel sold"?

I think it was plain inertia with Cryptic. They didn't bother with the exact timeline for a long time, and didn't want to retcon things in this regard - so they just progressed a year to get things going. I wouldn't be surprised if things were to move faster from now.
Of course, considering how they retconned the whole Romulan Republic, I suppose the rumour may have some merit.

Oh wait, lol, you right, i didnt pay too much attention the first time, i didnt notice it is a corset. About the skirt, nah, there are a few available in some packs, for example the nurse skirt is far shorter than that (and cooler btw) or the mirror universe one for example.
  • kodachikunokodachikuno Member Posts: 6,020 Arc User1
Point conceeded on the skirts, yes, the mirror ones are nice.
