Gateway to Grethor: Shutup Kagran!

I'm not usually the type to complain, but I've had it with this one. In the Gateway to Grethor STF, Captain Kagran informs us that the "Shipboard troop transports are beginning their run to the planet" and then he repeats it over, and over, and over, and over! I'm getting sick of hearing it. There is a certain point when information just becomes noise. This is noise.

Old complaint, but still valid. I can't understand why it is necessary, myself.

It doesn't really give the players any useful information. We know they are coming after the first group. They keep coming. They don't stop for that entire phase. There is no need to keep telling us that.

It's utterly pointless, especially when it only takes two parked ships on both sides to close all the radiation gates. Maybe reducing the 'voice' volume may be the way to go to compensate. I play with reduced game volume and listen to music, I tend to not even notice the guy. And that's running GtG on 7 toons...

I have to agree about "Shipboard troop transports are beginning their run to the planet" repeated over and over, some times I turn the sound off.

Im looking none-stop every direction anyways to close the radiation gates, I dont even shot, I let me pets to that, shields to max and close every one I can or have too.

I do like the shound on but the ships are coming gets even to me :-)

played it once... exactly because of this I have never gone back. The mission itself is kinda fun, but by the time its over you just wanna hit people repeatedly

STO isn't canon, and neither are any of the books.

Yeah it's pretty bad, I think it's safe to say that Kagran took Kurland's place as most annoying blabbermouth.
Muting the game does help a lot during that section since it is a good designed mission overall.

Okay, I looked at those release notes. That was June 19th. It is now July 6th and Kagran still won't shut up. Makes me wonder if any of those notes were activated at all.

Wait, my mistake. Those are Tribble notes. Okay, I guess we just have to put up with it for a little longer.

At least we can hope so....

The amount of fixes tribble got over the last weeks but never reached holodeck is staggering.

personally, i have found a solution. I turned off the sound for the entire game, and i use spotify (my own playlist), this idea is born during the delta recruit event, and the need of doing " boldly they rode" again and again. anyways, the sounds in STO are most of the time annoying.

Its possible that the stuff that didn't come over from Tribble aren't ready yet or are in need of further testing.

The first time he should say, "Shipboard troop transports are beginning their run to the planet!" After the first time he should say repeatedly, "Shipboard troop transports are still making their run to the planet!"

Kagran was always the kind of kid who, on long, boring trips, would continually ask his parents, "Are we there yet?" He also won the village idiot contest three consecutive years in a row in his hometown on Q'onos.

They're dragging their feet on the queue changes maybe until after Risa is over. They have a dream that 1 more person will rage buy zen to convert to dil to upgrade that equipment! Let them enjoy their dream a while longer.

We'll see. I would expect everything from that batch would come together. When? ???

It is a space game. There should be no sounds. I just turn it all off.

    That's because he's Klingon. I think they're all a bit bound up.
