Best Romulan race for space DPS

I'm going to be starting a new Romulan character. I'm a lifetime member, so I have access to the liberated Borg race. Which one of the three will be the best long-term for space DPS? I know the differences may be minuscule, but I'll take all the advantage I can get. Thanks!

Typically Romulan or, Reman is the optimal choice but, any other species works fine really. Most of this factions benefit, comes from the boff space traits, the actual captain species space traits are icing on the cake!

I like Reman. Lets me run a standard Infiltrator for myself, then pick up a boff with Superior Infiltrator for a full 22.5 seconds of decloak bonus, plus 4 SROs (or 5 if you have the Delta Rising bundle). To me, that extra half-again to the ambush bonus is worth losing 1.5% worth of CrtH if I'd been a Rom captain with Operative.

I agree with you on personal choice but, some people don't make enough use of the battlecloak, to get the most out of the infiltrator bonus! Those people would better benefit, from the Romulan species or, any species for that matter. Otherwise, you are spot on!

I use Romulan myself. But Remans are just as capable for chasing the DPS numbers. But like mentioned, be sure you get the Delta pack as there's two from that pack that are very worth using for the DPS build. Then of course, get the Scimitar. It's almost mandated if you want to DPS chase, sadly.

i use romulan and alien (more traits choice + 1 trait slot). like i'm not a cloak master, i have never needed a reman.

this is not really exact; you can do a lot of dps with all the ships. my tac rom can do 20k dps with the DSD T5-U, without a special build. you can have fun with all the ships. the faeht is the best romulan ship currently, enhanced battle cloak, intel skills, and a lot of fun. + it is not ugly like the scimitar or the pilot ships :p

In space, being a romulan really doesnt matter much if you are reman, romulan or alien. Its in g

    how much non sense lol.

Delta pack?? wtf you talking about?? dont make people waste money because you did when is not necessary, needed , required or watever, that nuts. A lot of things from the delta pack he will never use, and about ships, he will probably end just using 1 and the rest... in the can. Only because some of you have a lot of money to waste for some reason doesnt mean other people cant be smarter than you.

Scimitar for dps?? ow, dude, you must be living in the cavern ages. Nowadays almost any top tactical focused ship can achieve the dps numbers the scimitar can. The only difference is the scimitar for some reason is designed for "noobs" and it will not take him so much to achieve greater numbers than in other ships. Of course if he wants to play for fun he will never pilot the scimitar, thats for sure.

The major reason for recommending the DR pack, is that for the RR captains, it contains quite literally 2 of the greatest boffs they could possibly get EVER!!!!

That's 2 boffs with both space superior traits, on one boff each, meaning they are the elite of elite when it comes to, RR space boffs in regards to most sought after space traits.
