I heard it was a Krenin box. There has been a lot of people excited over the box, some friends of mine have been buying keys nonstop.

I think it is very likely we will be getting a Krenim lockbox witch of chance of getting Annorex's dreadnaught time ship. It will most likely come with some kind of chroniton weapon console because obviously they won't allow us to just erase our enemies from existence lol. Idk though. I don't go for lock box ships so either way it does not matter to me.

Annorex's ship is way too big. I think you are forgetting its scale vs Voyager. We'd have to be getting a heavily reduced size version.

I found the smaller ships involved in the Year of Hell way cooler anyway. Like the Nihydron.

The Kronen are a great alien species. I can't wait to see the Kranom lockbox to come out, maybe we'll get one of those Krenan ships from that two-part episode of Voyager where the Krinon showed up.

My fleet and I (and I'm sure a bunch of other people) said the same thing about the Scimitar and they made it anyway.

And no, I'm not forgetting the scale of the Intrepid class. What you seem to forget, is that the Intrepid is tiny compared to the bigger playable ships in this game. Park one next to a Bortas'qu and then think again whether or not the timeship is unrealistic in size for the game.

I would reckon the Intrepid is barely as long as one of her nacelles.

Are you sure this is it? I mean, they got Krenim wrong in the title, but then on the actual run-on post, there's "cripctic" and "hul" just at first glance. I think if this were what Taco was going on about, his head would have exploded before he hit the "Post Thread" button.

I will love to fly The Time Ship. The most lovely ship ive ever seen in the star trek universe. It is not big, the Time Ship is the size of the sovereign more or less, maybe a little bigger but not too much.

One website has it listed at 1550 meters. It was so large it couldn't exceed warp 6.

Well bigger than i expected and as i remember in the show, still not so big thoug. Like 2 sovereigns more or less. Still pretty playable. Look at ships like the Hirogen Apex, lovely to fly. Why this one would be different?

I don't know if this was true, or if someone was messing with me, but I was told there is going to be a new upgraded version of the Leech console.

But the Krumin would be great for a lockbox!

From what've gather from an internet search, there are three lockbox T6 ship, the Krenim Imperium Warship, the Krenim Science Dreadnaught, and the Zahl Heavy Cruiser, plus one T5 ship the Nihyrdon Destroyer.

The Krenium Science Dreadnaught comes an in built Chroniton Lance which deals antiproton damage, and a hangar bay that launches Krenim Raiders, which I think is a frigate with Coalition Disurptors and a Chroniton Torpedoes. So this is the ship you really want to win.

What about having a Kremnam Cruiser bundle which comes with it's own set of Krunin Consoles?

i don't really like the idea of the krynim lock box. we will have more op stuff; maybe the whales need more Op stuff, but not the gameplay.
why not annorac's ship for everybody?

I'm also not hooked on the Kreenm lockbox. Lockboxes are a stupid concept to begin with, but in case of the Krynum they just took one single glimpse we had on them and constructed their whole empire to be based around that one guy and ship which was clearly shown to be a one-off experiment. I'm not oposed to the idea of having krinnims in the game, but they would be just an "ordinary faction" rivaling the UFP, Klingons or Romulans technologically, not some weird timelord impersonation.

The krenim lockbox is all but confirmed officially.

I have a feeling the time ship will be a cross faction mission ship, that we get to keep after a mission.

I am guessing we will pilot it during a mission, like the Obelisk carrier etc.

Honestly a race that can hide an entire planet making it to "not exist" deserves a little atention lol. How many species can do that??

And this will be different to any lockbox because..??

I mean, of course some people hates some races or others, i myself didnt want the undine lockbox, but of course it doesnt matter what i think/want. We got it anyways. Its called "look at these new shinys a lot of people will want, because they are new".

And it is really a great time to have a Krenim lockbox. As one of the main species presents in a show, they deserve at least, a lockbox, like the others.

That's STO writing, however. They can just write whatever they want, it doesn't make things interesting. I mean the whole Iconian story is rather boring because we're listening to "the Iconians did it!" for five years and now that we have them they're basic cannon fodder, only "dangerous" during cutscenes.

it is not a question of species; i don't care about the species. it is about the gameplay. how these boxes add something to the overall gameplay? these boxes are intended only to make money, that's all. i have a lox box ship (bought in the exchange), and i must say this ship add nothing to my gameplay experience; same grind again and again, dumb AI, sponge mobs.

a lot of players cry because heralds have some of our abilities. personally i want more of our abilities given to the mobs. why the romulans ships don't use their cloak skill? why the escorts are so low? why the mobs turn stupidly around us or come so close to us, when they could have more interesting tactics. we "players" have enough stuff, for doing always the same thing.
As one of the main species presents in a show
2 episodes. exploration was present in all the tv shows; where is this feature?

Gameplay?? are you worried for the gameplay at this stage of the game?? loool. Ok, i know you are talking about every single lockbox, i agree. But please dont make it as a private excuse to blame the Krenim xd.

Exploration was removed long time ago. It was not exploration anyways , but it was the closest thing we hade to make random encounters on planets. Honestly it was terrible, but it was there. Instead of making it better, they just removed it. Typical. But hey, cryptic is not a lazy team, everybody knows that!! -sarcarsm finished.

I never payed attention to the STO writting cuz most of the things doesnt make sense and are like "meh?". That is a subjetive thing. Some people will like the writting, others wont. We are in a war against the Iconians but it looks like a party instead. I mean, i surely hope nobody will ask me about what i think about the writting in this game in a serious way. Because i dunno what i will say. I stoped paying attention to the main writting of this game ages ago. They put a couple of episodes with heralds and they call it a "war" i mean it is really ridiculous but it is what it is. If you learn to not expect nothing from the writting team of STO, you will be just fine. Just play the"new" thigns they release without paying attention to the story or anyting else and you will be fine.

When i play episodes i play em as regular ones without even reading most of the times because honestly i dont care about the story or the writting. Specially when the war against the iconians must be the most "enjoyable" war ever produced lol.

And no, I'm not forgetting the scale of the Intrepid class.

Are you now... Voyager is near the top, 2nd column from the right.

    4226456877_d35fc36519_o.jpg

Looking at it here, it is possible given Annorax's ship is only slightly longer than the D'Deridex or Dominion Dread.

Not sure where Bortas'qu fits in that scale, as it isn't a cannon ship and not on the image.

Doomsday sure has shrunk in scale with the more modern dreads and cruisers.

So wait a minute...according to that picture... a Jem'Hadar Dreadnought is not much smaller than the Krenim Temporal Vessel from Voyager? Holy TRIBBLE

What I thought also. So Krenim Temporal is possible given we can fly those others.

A very interesting chart. The time ship is a bit smaller then I expected as well. Off topic, to bad the Borg cube and the Xindi doomsday weapon isn't on there, I would be curious to see how big they are in comparison to each other.

So, apparently the Hirogen apex is bigger in the game?? Cuz it is almost as large as the Jem Haddar Dread.. and in that ship chart the Apex (Venatic Class in the chart) is even smaller than the Galaxy!!!

I mean , are the sizes of the chart really accurate? Because i also remember the Apex from the show really bigger than that.
