Let us earn a bartender DoFF on Andoria which allows us to replicate Andorian Ale

gradiigradii Member Posts: 2,824 Arc User
Because Andorian ale is a tradition over 300 years old among Andorians! Especially the famed Andorian Imperial Guard and most of all the Mining Consortium, it gives them the power to run from NO ONE.

Please honor the old tradition of Andorian Badassery by allowing us to get Andorian ale in some way.

What, Afraid of one more blue alcohol? B)

"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."

I don't see why not. I would also like a Romulan faction only bartender that makes Romulan Ale. (Or at least feds can't have it because it's illegal for them.)

Support 90 degree arc limitation on BFaW! Save our ships from looking like flying disco balls of dumb!

This would be good! Both Andorian and Romulan! Apparently Klingon Blood Wine is for lightweights. Klingon's need something strong. Prune juice isn't cutting it...even though it is a warrior's drink! Klingon Bat'leth varnish!

I think this - and other faction/planet related DOFFs and missions would be a great idea.

Taco and the many of the Devs have said that there's little reason to focus on creating social zones because nobody really utilizes them that much. Adding in these types of things would add functionality to those areas. And it would add some immersion to the game, which is always welcome in my opinion.

I don't see how Romulan ale would stay illegal considering the alliance with the republic.

Probably the first human to ever sample Bloodwine and Andorian Ale, was Captain Jonathan Archer, in the 22nd century.

(Shran gave Archer andorian ale on a couple occasions, the bloodwine was when Captain Archer was stuck in a klingon jail, his Klingon lawyer offered him some which he tasted)

same way it did with the alliance withe the romulan star empire. though why... and for that matter how every single ship in federation seems to have a bottle or two when its illegal confuses me.

if I stop posting it doesn't make you right it. just means I don't have enough rum to continue interacting with you.

Um you're forgetting there may be people in the Republic who know how to produce Romulan Ale. B)
IMPERIAL Romulan ale would be illegal perhaps.

As for the federation overusing illegal romulan ale, its become a kind of running gag in the shows, so many people skirt the Romulan Ale drinking ban when out in space for some reason.

As Kirk once said, "One of the advantages of being a thousand light years from Federation headquarters." lol.

It was once suggested that perhaps it's illegal because most humanoids can't drink it safely. It's a fan-theory of course, but plausible.

I seriously doubt that given how many other substances are legal.

Also that would be pretty much the stupidest reason to make anything illegal.

Well... remember what happened to Worf after he drank it? And this is a Klingon who can down Bloodwine like it's soda....

Not only are Romulans "humanoids", but the list of "can't X safely" is big, I mean BIG, Life isn't something you can do safely.....

Yes I know... no one survives life. :p

What I was getting at is that it might be a drink that is less hazardous to Romulans than most races(such as Humans and Klingons).

Some of us take pride in being able to drink such things......(Maina takes pride in her "Master Bartender" title).

As to the OP, Bring it, I support 100%.
