I guess they can write all kinds of misleading stuff in their ship descriptions from now on and no one should complain then.
Dude, you need to lighten up. It's late, most people are preparing to go to sleep. Once it's a time when people are more active on the forums, you'll probably get more posts in this thread. (Provided it doesn't get buried before that happens.)

I just figured people would think this was important.
I would have expected more comments on it. For myself, I haven't brought the T6 battlecruiser so I can't confirm your problem. I do however hope it's resolved in some way.
Did you ever stop and think that maybe it's a bug? The dev blog clearly said the T6 battlecruiser can equip the cloaking console so if it can't then it must not be working as intended.
This is General Discussion, and as such, reporting bugs here will not be as highly visible to our staff as they will be if reported in the right section = Gameplay Bug Reports.
They don't respond to bug reports here because they don't see them. You should post in the correct sub-forum to report the issue.
I just wanted other people to chime in if it was happening to them as well and maybe even be directed to an existing thread that already had it handled.

The funny thing was about the Defiant's cloak...it was Romulan and all Romulan cloaks are battle. And yet, the one you get from the store is the lousy, you-have-to-be-out-of-battle-to-use variety. In the series, the Defiant was firing its phasers right up until it vanished!

All cloaks in-game should be battlecloaks.
That said, the Romulans gave the Defiant a cloaking device. There's no reason that any of the other Defiant class ships, or any other Federation ship should have a cloaking device. This could only mean that the Federation broke it's treaty with the Romulans, saying that they wouldn't develop cloaking technology. (Good for them, they got the bad end of that deal, and the Romulans can't really back it up anymore anyway.) But Cryptic could at least instead of saying that the Federation would uphold the treaty anyways (lore-wise), that they just broke the treaty instead.

Nope, because it's a waste of a console slot on the ship.

I was Klingon before Klingon was cool.
Reported in bug forums, thanks for the link.
Cannot submit bug tickets, as the site never works for me.
I have informed them on twitter, as this is the fastest way to let them know these days.
You can post bugs on the forums.

I'm sure a lot of us old Avenger pilots are in the same position. We didn't notice because in PvE a cloak console is next to worthless.
For what its worth, I miss it now

Thanks for those links, I could have posted in those, but I chose to just inform them directly on twitter.
Both would get the job done, but with twitter I got a reply, so I know it is a least getting looked at now.
Can you post a link to the Twitter post please?
