...like the Dyson, the Kobali etc, would I be able to use the reclaim tab to get it back on the same toon?

    Yes.

You can reclaim the Event Ship by going under the Events section of your Reputation tab and clicking on the Store option. You will find all the ships you can re-claim there.

If you wish, you can check it before you dismiss the ship, if you already have one then the ship will be listed but greyed out. As soon as the ship is dismissed, it will be available to claim again. I have already used it a few times for the Samsar and the Breen Ships from the Winter Event. I don't have the Dyson ship so I haven't tried that one.
    Insert witty signature line here.

I can cerify that. You can reclaim all ships that are unlocked for your account once you discard the box or the unboxed ship on a character, just did this yesterday.

this also works for event ships that you discarded previous to the new store, I noticed an event ship available to claim that I deleted some time ago.

When I think about everything we've been through together,

maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

and if that journey takes a little longer,

so we can do something we all believe in,

I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
