afaik the only way is to hide all other forums and then go with the "discussions" button. to hide a forum u go on the main page of all forums and click the lil menue-button next to each forum where u get the hide-option .
not seen one, guess most people will just post in general now otherwise their post will be lost in the mass of child boards.
This. I really don't feel like clicking through the other forums now. Back in the old forum (and the cryptic one before that) you could see last threads on the overview page. Now it's... nothing. It feels like these vanilla foruma are adequate for single discussions without any subforums. A "big" forum like STOs or NWN folded into this "discussion board/note" system however seems like an impracticable mess.
^ Memory Alpha.org is not canon. It's a open wiki with arbitrary rules. Only what can be cited from an episode is. ^
"No. Men do not roar. Women roar. Then they hurl heavy objects... and claw at you." -Worf, son of Mogh
"A filthy, mangy beast, but in its bony breast beat the heart of a warrior" - "faithful" (...) "but ever-ready to follow the call of the wild." - Martok, about a Targ
"That pig smelled horrid. A sweet-sour, extremely pungent odor. I showered and showered, and it took me a week to get rid of it!" - Robert Justman, appreciating Emmy-Lou
I do hope they'll bring back the search function for dev posts.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Yep, if you hide everything else...then the Recent Discussions/Discussions works like the Today's Post.
Course, even if you hide everything - if you've posted in some other thread outside of that, you'll still get the notifications for it. Would be nifty if hiding meant hiding in that sense...oh well.

Would be nifty if they had a functional search function period...which if they had, then the devtracker thing would be pretty easy...but since they don't, well that's that.
You have to go to the page for each dev you want to see if they posted something and look at their Discussions/Comments to see if they've got something there or not.
If there was a functional search function, where one could search posts by poster (or poster group) - then they could set it up just like that had it. But they don't. Fail forums are fail forums.
