Flying High - Superior Floater

Since the patch today, I have to stop after passing through a gate and wait until the next gate appears before moving forward. Not doing so causes you to have to go back to "missed" gates time and time and time and time and time and time again. What happened? Why are the gates not rendering faster!? What is the sence in having a fast floater if you just have to wait around until the next gate appears (having similar issues during the Hunt event as well, get to where the object should be, then have to wait for it to appear). This is not happening in any single instance, it is happening in all instances that I've been on since the patch.
