The Iconians.. a terrible threat and to defeat them, 2 possible paths.

The frontal assault: We must have the Undine punch a hole in the Iconian system's Dyson Sphere followed by a Borg force distracting the bulk of the Iconian fleet (the Borg should be easily enticed by the prospect of assimilating a mere single Iconian vessel) The combined Alliance fleet should then be able to push through the Iconian fleet mass delivering specialized torpedoes to the star at the center of that sphere triggering a super nova and effectively crippling the Iconian offensive.

Temporal warfare: We must contact the Krenim in the Delta quadrant, by using a temporal weapon to change a small element in local space (Beta Quadrant) causing a temporal shift. The Iconian brain is very sensitive to changes in the timeline. By shifting a moon out of existence of a minor or unpopulated world we may cause them all to go mad without sacrificing too much of our temporal continuity. With the Iconian leadership worried about invisible cats eating their cheerios, their offensive would crumble.

Well, the Preservers apparently had a lot of info on the Iconians, info so critical it had to be vaporized before we had a chance to acquire it. Seems going back 6 months or so and accessing it before the invasion would allow us to get the info we need to beat the Iconians without damaging the timeline.

Agreed, I will order the U.S.S. Eternity (my time ship) back immediately the intel could prove invaluable.

what is with this shaky idea that the krenim always had temporal technology? and why contact a dead race for ways to get to the past when whoever can successfully go back in time as demostrated by your toon in DR without the need of outside groups. all your idea shows is that the federation is incapable of thinking outside the box, i dont believe that at all.

all we know is that iconian minds are chroniton based, so fire enough particles that disrupt the chronitons like anyons and its game over for them.
    T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW.
Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
