Pilot Tree Expansion Thoughts

I am not expecting a lot of people to have many points int to the tree but i have gone the extra light year and done that by being able to fill the tree when it launched. (I have been saving points and grinding for a while to prep for this)
a few things i noticed:
Before the additions i was able to get my defense on average with traits and abilities to about 150% (The reason was to get the most out of reprocity) after putting in the points I got to 250% and i think i can go more if everything procs just right which is pretty amazing.
Also the additional damage boosts are rather nice but i have to parse myself to see how much of an impact it makes over all.
lastly Shield scrapping is fun and it seems to proc often which adds some additional damage to the enemy as I'm rocketing past them.
So overall i am loving this tree, certainly is a lot of fun to use.
Any one else have thoughts on what they think so far?

Probably one of the best abilities and its a buff that gets stripped not a chance to avoid explosive death so its awesome.
