Delta Flight - Herald Patrol not spawning / no credit for defeating patrol.

I have run the episode Delta Flight twice from the beginning of the asteroid field 'obstacle course' (btw, this was plainly unpleasant and not enjoyable in a cruiser, clearly being designed for escorts) and at the point where the USS Bern is disabled, the patrol in question will not spawn or credit is not being given upon it's destruction.

Attempts to resolve :

• Ran the episode twice from the start of the asteroid field obstacle course.
• Searched entire area around objective zone - No enemies within contact range of the objective zone.
• Waited 15+ minutes for something (anything) to trigger - nothing.

ADDENDUM :

Just run the episode again from the beginning (abandoned and reobtained completely), this time upon defeating the 2 Battleships that patrol consists of I was prompted to beam onto the USS Bern, once combat was resolved.

I have the same problem. You had to drop the mission and start over?

Well, guess what...It's still doing this. I just had it happen...twice. Coincidentally, I'm also in a cruiser. Lots of "fun".
