Cryptic does not care that you can't connect

I ave not been able to connect to STO since january. I went back and forth with PWI cust service for three weeks about it. I id several traceroutes and over and over they claimed it was my ISP even though the trace drops out between the PWI server and the cryptic patcher. When I complained to them I was going to miss the entire anniversery because of this issue they told that i could still buy Zen on sale. Yes I was told I could still buy zen to a game I can not play...

There is no issue on my end. no other online game I play has an issue. I have a 100mbps internet connection the game drops out while traveling through cryptics servers.

Not sure where you're getting the idea it's happening within the Cryptic network, it's not even happening in their ISP range at their end according to your tracert, the cryptic servers are number 13 and 14 (12 is Cryptics ISP) on that tracert, the issue showing on that tracert is at hops 7 and 8 which is the zayo.com gateway hub and nothing to do with cryptic, you need to talk to your ISP about getting your routing changed or contact zayo.com to tell them they have an issue.

That was just one I did yesterday before it dropped between the two cryptic server points. either way the traceroute completed even with some packet loss I should still be able to connect.

The first thing I do whenever I'm experiencing connection issues is try a VPN. Most are free and you simply have to click a button and its active. Alternatively, have you tried the cryptic launcher proxy options irrespective of whether you are in NA or EU?

Tell me about it. I'm getting the patch server timed out error again (seems to happen every other patch). Last time I had it I contacted Arc/cryptic and they said they were aware of the issue and that they were working on it. took them two patches and three months to sort it out.

Then it started happening to anouther group of people (hang on does anyone notice a pattern with these errors).
