Have the minimum PC requirements changed for the game?

STO has been noticeably processor intensive after Delta Rising.

Is there a new minimum requirement suggested?


Minimum System Requirements from the website:

Operating System
Windows XP SP2 / Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit)

CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8 Ghz or AMD Athlon X2 3800+

RAM
Memory: 2GB RAM

Hard Disk
10GB Free Disk Space

Graphic Display
NVIDIA GeForce 7950 / ATI Radeon X1800 / Intel HD Graphics

    If you are using XP you want to upgrade to at least WIN 7.

    yes they have those are the requirements of the original game.

    I suppose I will put in a request to update the minimum requirements.

    I noticed the increase in processor usage obviously slowed the game response in the Delta Quadrant.

    I'm curious if people are conflating the processor load with lag.

    It might be helpful if you post your specs and what specifically you are seeing. I'm running a 3770k but my CPU usage hovers around 18% in game.
