Honestly, I am just wondering how they will try to monetize (through yet another Dil sink) it like the Boff system.
With how they are doing things now, it will be all about power creep. If you think about it, they were selling power creep before DR, but it is a heavily focused theme in the game play now. So, with all the focus on it, changing it from DPS in the skill tree, which most min/max players have their builds set up for their base foundation for DPS, would really be another slap in the face to a lot of players.
At this point, if they want to change the skill tree (which doesn't need it), then they need to tread carefully, and have someone in charge that will think things through. Otherwise, it will just push more loyal players away.
For me personally, I am waiting on them to address the real problems with the game. And power creep is one of the big players in it. But to remove the already obtained power creep from those that have bought into it, or the few that were grinding for it, I don't like the thought of that. And I am not a chaser of the almighty DPS, but I value others who spent money, or time to obtain it.
