Command Battlecruiser Question

Hello to all. I have a quick question. I recently purchased a bunch of command battle cruisers. My question is: do tactical damage boosting consoles also help improve the damage output of the Defense Platform Console? I did read a thread where it was supposedly confirmed that the Tachyon Platform was boosted by flow caps (not sure if he meant the skill or the item). So I was wondering if the tac damage boosting consoles would also do the same for the Defense Platform Console.

    Not sure what the answer is, but to be honest.. those consoles aren't worth using. Spire tacticals, universals with CrtH/CrtD, and a handful of other universals like the plasmonic leech are best by a long shot. The set bonuses are on those command consoles is pretty good, but none of the consoles are individually nearly as good as what they'd be replacing and the set bonus doesn't do nearly enough to make up for it.
