for the last month STO has been a swim through lag sludge.
just HOW bad varies from major annoyance to making the game completely unplayable, and the trend has been disturbingly towards the more severe end lately.
This is most definitely not a problem on my end, all my friends report the same issues, and we had ZERO problems before this period started.
I hope cryptic can pull itself together before the game starts bleeding more players. A game which is unplayable due to lag won't keep customers no matter how loyal they would be otherwise.
"He shall be my finest warrior, this generic man who was forced upon me.
Like a badass I shall make him look, and in the furnace of war I shall forge him.
he shall be of iron will and steely sinew.
In great armour I shall clad him and with the mightiest weapons he shall be armed.
He will be untouched by plague or disease; no sickness shall blight him.
He shall have such tactics, strategies and machines that no foe will best him in battle.
He is my answer to cryptic logic, he is the Defender of my Romulan Crew.
He is Tovan Khev... and he shall know no fear."
Same problem here as well... ever since the Anni event, but it's made the game unplayable since the last patch. I also know for a fact it is not my end as I've tested on multiple builds on multiple different connections. Between the lag and power tray resetting for months now...I'm really not sure the devs care anymore. I would love to hear some kind of official response to this issue, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
The Game is unplayable for weeks now, with that strong server-lag.
The funny thing is, that the lag isn't so strong in weaker teams, if you have a team with players, who know, what they are doing, a very big lag occurs.

Where can I find it so that I can test/confirm it?
I'm still having problems. Even the log in screen is gummed up.
