Black screen!

im STILL getting a black screen with music! ive tried everything possible to fix this problem! all my graphics drivers are upto date! ive tried to reinstalling the game, ive tried running it as safe mode, as admin!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!! I haven't played since October!!!!!!!

    remove any custom post processing like sweetfx or enb and the like.

    I only have that issue when sweetfx is running... try hitting the "scroll lock" button to turn it off. when i do that the video is back... if so need to remove it from the game.

    I too am having black screen. It's mostly when in space, I can't even get the screen to come up to change any options. I also get black screen when hitting escape key to either change characters or options, as well as when I am trying to calibrate the brightness. And I am not running any of that stuff previously mentioned. I am running Windows 8, all drivers are up to date, and I had this problem before Delta recruit, but it's worse now.

    Update - I found that if I can get out of full screen, then I can move around and do whatever options I need to do.
