Multiple Choice Mark Packages no longer award the .5 bonus

So I saved a few of these from the Winter Eppohh lady , but it seems that they no longer grant the .5 Bonus on a Marks Event .

Old news ?
New news ?
Bug ?
Have Eppohs been nerfed too ?




... am I a hoarder ... ?

    They nerfed it a couple of months ago I think. First the mark boxes got hit, then the Dilithium boxes & turn-ins.

    "We're giving you less stuff to make the other stuff seem more valuable" is pretty much the reason that they gave at the time.

    I noticed that the Marks-to-Dil got hit during the last Dil event .
    Didn't see it happen to the boxes . :(

    Guess they don't want my Zen to for a larger Bank space .

    ... and with nerfed Marks-to-Dil , they still won't give is a normal amount to convert ... , 50 at a time is so much fun ...

    This makes sense. They want to give event bonuses for playing during the event not for TRIBBLE--uh, saving up -- stuff for months ahead of time.

    This gives a nice reward for the majority of more casual players even if it annoys the farmers.

    I'm not even surprised anymore.
    They could make the boxes time-limited, disappearing from the inventory if not opened in the next 1 hour of a patch, and "forget" to give the info in the notes and I wouldn't even be fazed.

    Alternate joke: Good news! The chocolate ration has been increased from 30 grams to 25 grams!

    For the record , I my ears have been abused by the Eppoh Lady and I deserve compensation !

    ... and it's not like I have not worked for it just like everyone else AND put off the urge for immediate satisfaction to turn them in right away . Guess I'll just have to participate in events less as from my POV they got less awarding ...

    Shrug.

    I expected this and frankly it doesn't upset me. Events should reward for that event and not play done before it. They made a huge mistake not in changing this, but in allowing the bonus on hoarded materials originally.

    There are bigger issues than this one. Such as when do I get my T5-U Connie :)

    Well , that depends .
    While I have no issue with getting the same as everyone else -- but if I'm getting less awards then say ... a year ago , then from my perspective I am indeed getting less .

    Same as buying Keys .
    I can buy Zen now and buy Lockbox Keys now , but I know that if I wait for a Zen discount and then wait for a Key discount , I get a 30% off the total Key cost .
    Doing the above I didn't TRIBBLE anyone over , but I do pay less than those who make ... an impulse purchase .





    ... but then again , cutting my in-game income like this , is reciprocated in my Zen purchases . What goes around comes around ...

    They changed bonus mark events so that the event changes the number of marks a box earned during the event contains. Pre-packaged marks don't count.

    I finally finished up the CC Event today that awarded the Mariah Gravimetric Doff. Got 750 Fleet and 375 Omega Marks so they will award a bonus if earned during the Mark Event.
