Getting a new Freighter ? Talaxian Freighter maybe ?

ionarcionarc Member Posts: 10 Arc User
We got the Tuffli and I guess Cellship, but they are a bit old and boring nowdays, maybe it's time to get a new one ?

With "Delta" features onboard, such as DOFF recruiting, missions for R&D materials, or special Delta commodities, or salvaged technology.

Or a Talaxian Chef :)

People are missing the onboard R&D consoles. With the new R&D interface, they would be superfluous now, but here's an idea to bring onboard R&D functionality:

- we could have a new item, "Delta" artifacts, which brings some bonus to the R&D process

An item that you can "grow" incrementally and finally get a random result of either tech or rarity bonus.

Like the Omega Particles, but a little different.

That would stand to reason. First nerf what you have , Cell ship. Then offer something new and shiny. The Cell ship had crafting, when they revamped crafting, they did not put anything in its place.I always thought crafting onboard with an increased crit chance would be nice.

We probably are about due for another one of these ship types. This next one will of course incorporate T6 somehow and add another layer of cheese to something undisclosed. On a side note I really hope it isn't something in the delta quadrant, I find almost everything related to voyager to be incredibly annoying.

I can get behind this basic idea, 100%

It means the price of SCSs/Freighters will plummet, just like the JHAS, and since I want a SCS for an alt or 2 (have one on my main, love it!) this might put that goal in reach.

The idea of Delta Artifacts, if they are only available on this new ship, will raise cries of "PAY TO WIN!!" though...

Careful what you say, or we'll get a Talaxian Freghter...

I'd rather have fleet T6 ships as well as more Romulan and KDF science ship offerings.
Green people don't have to be.... little.

I would rather pull out my own teeth than suffer Talaxian ships in the game.

Yep, that's about what I paid for my first one.

The fact that I can't invite my own alts to my bridge escaping me, along with the fact I didn't HAVE another 40 mil at the time prevented me from getting another then.

I predict they'll come down again, if we get a new "freighter" type box-ship.
