If by "don't look right at all" you mean "aren't 100 % perfect maches", you may have a point.

I think you could use more examples of the Dominion ships on on Memory Alpha or Ex Atris.

And you can write more than one sentence or link in a post.

If you're talking scale, DS9 had at least two different Dominion ships of radically different scales based on that same model.

The one in game is based on one use of that model in one episode.

A number of the factions have several re-dresses of the same model at different scales. Sometimes with changes to things like windows. Sometimes just showing the ship at a different scale. Sometimes with variations to hull pattern or color, sometimes without.

Most frequently, the variations have no official canon game. I think the Klingons and Cardassians and Federation are the main cases where the variations have names, such as Keldon vs. Galor.

I THINK the screenshot you're showing is from the blockade of Cardassia. And if memory serves, that's a redress of a model used at a different scale in another episode and the game version is based on the version used in a different episode that had a different scale.

Perhaps they'll get a pass through if/when STO does the Gamma Quadrant expansion.

I'm a pretty big fan of DS9 and the Dominion

I have very little complaints about the ships... first time I even get to fly them in any Star Trek game ever made

To me, the Defiant (any of the classes) are a little off and I am not sure why
Deep Space Nine in HD, make it so!

In general, the STO Dominion Warships are close enough to their canon counterparts. For contrasts:

    JHAS: STO NPC / MA
    JHDC: STO NPC / MA

The JHEC is indigenous to STO and is not canon.

There is a Jem'Hadar Battlecruiser in DS9/Dominion War. It even exists as an NPC ship in STO.

Some time ago when it was up that there was going to be a new playable Dominion ship (which turned out to be the JHSS) I really thought we were going to get the playable Jem'Hadar Battleship. There's a form of it already in the game as a large NPC ship.

I was expecting a Jem'Hadar BB or the canon Battlecruiser instead of JHAS v2.0.

This is why I want them to give the Defiant the "Post-DR Voyager" treatment.

Yes, make it a T6, but update the rendering of the ship... maybe even update the Belfast interior.

And give me a special canonical Dual Quantum Torpedo Launcher.

    And a DS9 revamp.

    And the Gamma Quadrant.

The Defiant-class already had received numerous variants.
    - Defiant
    - Vigilant
    - Sao Paolo
    - Gallant

The Gallant and Vigilant had been retouched by Cryptic last year at the same time as the Type 5 ship textures were introduced. When KDF, Romulan vessels have little to no customization, how much more extra skins do you need?

Well, first of all, the Defiant has as many variant skins now as the Intrepid did, before the launch of the Pathfinder.

    Secondly, I don't want a new skin, I want a remastered skin.

Finally, I want the Defiant to be a T6 vessel. Sorry, but when compared to my precious "Ben Sisko's Pimp Hand," customization options for KDF and ROM ships are... low. :P

The Jemmy dread in game is (at least the model) the ship we saw chew up the USS Valiant in "DS9: Valiant".

The ship we saw in orbit of cardassia.... was probably just a case of "look guys, it needs to look like a fortress of doom!"

In the battle of "DS9: what you leave behind" we saw the ship from the valiant episode, getting shot by a vorcha and not giving a fck.

If you're trying to show that the colors are wrong, why did you link to black and white drawings?
