With the expansion and development of specializations and specialization boffs, I thought I'd throw in a few suggestions and ideas that might help the development of the new system flow a bit more smoothly.
1) Modify all T6 Lieutenant Specialization stations to accept any specialization field.
Primarily for non-promotion T6 designs, such as the Guardian Cruiser, the Mat'Ha, the Aelahl and Pathfinder ships. These all come equipped with Lieutenant hybrid stations for the INTEL specialization, but to give these ships more flexibility, I'd like to suggest that they accept ANY specialization. This way, non-promotional T6 ships have more variety and can utilize a variety of level-60 goodies without being restricted to a particular specialization.
For the Command Battlecruisers and Intel Ships, I think the commander/hybrid stations should remain unaltered (for obvious reasons) but perhaps the lieutenant specialization slots on these should be made omni-capable as well (testing would be necessary).
2) Sell a Specialization-Respec token in the C-Store for X Zen.
Yes, I know the idea is to accumulate every ability in due time, but is there anything wrong with allowing players interested in restarting in the Command Officer field to purchase, for some Zen, a respec?
3) [VERY SPECULATIVE] Change all T5-U statuses to full T6 and modify the lowest-ranking, non-universal Bridge Officer station to a specialization-hybrid station.
On the Fleet Science Vessel Retrofit, for example, this would be the Ensign Science Station. I have absolutely no idea how this would work on Birds-of-Prey. (hence, its a longshot).
The first part about hybrid stations is in thew works I'm waiting as is everyone about what ships will be eligible for that. As far as a respec token it wont happen because of being able to gain all points and was addressed in a previous blog. Also about T5U to upgrade to T5U it wont happen because if anything it will be certain ships like they did with pathfinder but don't except to see them all.

Thoughts?
New ships having the new hotness seat is how they'll keep (re)selling ships without needing a T7, T8, T9, etc, etc, increase every three months.
This is my Risian Corvette. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
