Bringing crafting and reps together....

Hi it's late and I can't sleep so while counting sheep I've come up for what I think is good way of making the rep system and PvE queues used more once you complete a rep system.

We already have a sponsorship token after the rep system is complete, well how about a crafting token.

Once you reach tier 5 in the rep system a new project opens up, crafting tokens, these offer a 50% reductions in dill requirements for using any crafting project. So these are slotted in like accelerators etc but give a dill reduction. Use one half dill cost use two quarter dill cost.

Say 100 marks per item cost. Account bound so to stop trading as the devs don't like dill items tradable (mining).

I think your idea is impractical, when you run a rep project there is certain items you must donate and often the cost of what you donate outweighs the value of the item you gain so its highly unlikely you would get anywhere near the discount you suggest.
the best way to use the rep system to help with crafting is to earn reputation marks and use the rep system to turn the marks into dilithium.

the quickest way is the ongoing efforts project that pays 500 dilithium for 50 marks and only takes a few seconds to pay out, the best value way is to use continued support project that pays 340 dilithium for 15 or 20 marks but does take 1 hour before it pays out, you will also need to donate EC and EXP for this one but you also get some usefull gear you can keep or recycle to recoup your EC and you will end up getting twice as much dilithium for your marks in the long run.

as well as PVE I have also found epohh tagging on new rom a nice quick and easy way to earn marks, it only takes a few minutes each day to tag epohh and you get 400 marks for an elder epohh and that works out as 4000 dil if you use the quick method.

so whatever way you get marks, your 100 marks for per item cost would actually get you 1000 dilithium.

even better you can trade the end results i.e. dilithium for zen.
