Them Lock Box Traits

flash525flash525 Member Posts: 5,441 Arc User
Browsing the Exchange earlier, some of them look to be promising for my style of gameplay. Wondering if anyone here can tell me more about the following Traits, whether they're worth the (in some cases, expensive) price, or whether they're best avoiding;

  • biotech patch
  • intense focus
  • pattern recognition
  • exotic absorption
  • fail safe scrambler
  • wing commander

I use Engineers, and fly Cruisers; something to bare in mind. :)

Thanks!

They are all nice but, it is really up to you, as to whether or not they are worth the cost for them!

Some are expensive, because they are not provided from the current lockbox atm so, quantities can become very limited.

Some are expensive, because they are in high demand and, are a very sought after trait for many people.

Some are a combination of the 2.

    • biotech patch - Specially good for heal boats. Regardless, the 20% boost is awesome
    • intense focus - Good in general as the damage bonus keeps stacking
    • pattern recognition - Makes you even tankier
    • exotic absorption - More of a PvP toy, and even then, it's usefulness is debatable given how high exotic damage is now.
    • fail safe scrambler - Seems great, but 90% of the people who I've seen use this in PvP die anyway a couple of seconds later.
    • wing commander - Bah, pets suck

You can find information on almost anything in game at http://sto.gamepedia.com/Main_Page

Or, just google something like "biotech patch sto" and the first link to come up is almost always for the wiki page for that item.

This I know, but those pages are usually one persons opinion (if that). By asking here, I can see multiple opinions. :)

    lucho80, thanks for the feedback.
