The inspace respawn mechanics in the game needs a change IMHO. I think from a RP point of view and a more pleseant game they should adopt the same grafix and mechanics as NPC ships in space adopted. If instaed of exploding our ships went into a repair mode as Voyager, Enterprise etc do when they fight along side players it would be far more realistic and enjoyable gameplay. Adding say an option for team mates to throw hazard emmiters and other repair powers on a respawning(repairing) ship would make Sci ships and captains Even more valuable resource in a fight. Not exploding and respawning would be far nicer from an rp point of view. I think it would be more inline with the ground mechanic where you call for assistance instaed of respawning.
PS replies to my spelling and grammer are not needed as I realize typos happen often to me. Nerve damage to hands makes backspaceing and repairing said typos not worth effort, and pain.
I agree with this post. It would make sci ships and captains have more uses unlike now where in the last 40 group missions i have been in i have only seen 3 sci ship. This change would also as stated make the game more believable. Also keep the penalty of time when ur ship would explode have the ability to speed it up by using a skill like engineer team and hazard emitters.
